Where Would You Rather Be?

A single day in Your courts is better than a thousand anywhere else! I would rather be a gatekeeper in the house of my God than live the good life in the homes of the wicked.  O Lord of Heaven's Armies, what joy for those who trust in You-----Psalm 84:10, 12

Have you ever been in a place that made you feel really uncomfortable, like maybe you SHOULDN'T be there?  Maybe a place where you felt threatened or frightened?  Maybe just that uncomfortable feeling that you just don't belong there?  I have been in those places a time or two and therefore, I can truly say AMEN!  to these verses.

I love being around and in the presence of God's people!  There is such a strong presence of God, Himself, in places where the Children of the Most High God have gathered to offer WORSHIP and PRAISE to Him.
There is such a SWEET, SWEET Spirit in that place, where the very presence of God abides.

There is such a LOVING, SWEET Spirit in my Church, that whenever we have visitors one of the first things they mention is what a LOVING feeling is in the Church, and that is because God's Children LOVE Him and they LOVE each other.  When God's Children are Spirit-led and Spirit-controlled they will LOVE God and each other with a Godly love or an Agape love.  Believe me I would rather spend a single day in that environment than a thousand anywhere else.

A good life in the home of the wicked cannot even come close to comparison with having the "lowliest" position in the house of Almighty God, (if there is such a position.)  What a JOY it is to know that, THE BEST IS YET TO COME!!! When we get to Heaven, it only gets BETTER!!!

I heard a story once about a dear saint of God who loved desserts and whenever her church had a dinner she would ALWAYS  eat her dessert  first.  When she was dying, she made a request that they place a fork in her hand and when she passed on they granted her last request and someone passing the casket  asked why she had a fork in her hand,  The Pastor said  She had told him that THE BEST WAS YET TO COME and she wanted to be ready.

My question for you is:  Are you ready?  If you were to leave this world today in death  would you spend the rest of ETERNITY in God's courts in His presence with the rest of the Saints. or would you spend ETERNITY in that HORRIBLE, inconceivable place, known as HELL with the wicked?
If you want your destination to be HEAVEN, all you need to do is to CONFESS your sins and ASK for God's forgiveness, BELIEVE that Jesus died for YOU and has prepared a place for you to spend ALL ETERNITY in. ACCEPT GOD's FREE gift of SALVATION.  And join the Saints in HEAVEN!
