Truly Righteous and Holy!

 

 

Put on your new nature, created to be like God---truly righteous and holy.

And do not bring sorrow to God’s Holy Spirit by the way you live.  Remember, He has identified you as His own, guaranteeing that you will be saved on the day of redemption.  Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of evil behavior.  Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you.---------Ephesians 4: 24, 30—32

 

 

When an individual feels God’s Spirit dealing with their heart and they make the decision to give their HEART and LIFE to God, they become a CHILD of the LIVING GOD, and just like our children, who FOLLOW AFTER  and IMITATE their parents,  God’s Children, should also FOLLOW AFTER and IMITATE The Lord God Almighty, Who is our HEAVENLY FATHER.  In order for a Child of God to be able to FOLLOW AFTER and IMITATE God, they must READ and STUDY His Word and then APPLY it to their lives. 

 

Paul instructs the Ephesian believers NOT to bring SORROW to the Holy Spirit of God, but to PUT ON their NEW NATURE, for they are no longer prisoners to their sins, but have come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and as He is TRULY RIGHTEOUS and HOLY so should they be TRULY RIGHTEOUS and HOLY. 

 

And they become TRULY RIGHTEOUS and HOLY by the work of God’s HOLY SPIRIT who at the time of their SALVATION has guaranteed them to be SAVED on the day of their REDEMPTION, and to be able to LIVE a TRULY RIGHTEOUS and HOLY life, by getting RID of ALL bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander and GETTING RID OF ALL TYPES OF EVIL BEHAVIOR. Because when one TRULY gives their HEART and LIFE to Jesus, they become a NEW CREATION, and they SHOULD live and WANT to live a RIGHTEOUS and HOLY life by PUTTING ON their NEW NATURE.  When they are TRULY SINCERE about their relationship with God, they should WORK at PUTTING OFF the OLD SINFUL NATURE and GETTING RID of ALL BITTERNESS, RAGE, ANGER, HARSH WORDS, AND SLANDER and ALL TYPES OF EVIL BEHAVIOR. It all boils down to being a HEART thing, you MUST want to do this, in order to make it work.

 

Paul then gives them words of Godly instruction: “be KIND to each other, TENDERHEARTED, FORGIVING one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you.”  This is probably one of, if not THE hardest thing to do, especially when someone has WRONGED us and HURT us deeply.  All we can think of is RETALIATION, PAYBACK TIME. But the Word of God plainly says what actions we, as His Children MUST take.  We should be KIND, TENDERHEARTED, FORGIVING. Are we PRACTICING these attributes of our NEW NATURE?  I PRAY that we, who are TRULY God’s Children, are striving to live according to His Word and APPLYING these attributes to our lives.  So when we stand before the Lord, He can look at us and say:  “Well done My GOOD and FAITHFUL SERVANT!”

 

If you have NEVER given your HEART and LIFE to Jesus, then you are not and cannot live a TRULY RIGHTEOUS and HOLY life.  You are making your life miserable with BITTERNESS, RAGE, ANGER, HARSH WORDS, SLANDER and ALL TYPES OF EVIL BEHAVIOR.  But you can get some relief from that kind of life by:  CONFESSING your sins to God and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING that Jesus died for YOU and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION.  Do it NOW, while you STILL can.  He’s waiting!!!

But the Scriptures declare that we are all prisoners of sin, so we receive God’s promise of freedom only by believing in Jesus Christ.--------Galatians 3:22

 

 

Prisoners of sin, those who have had their chains of sins broken,  that for so long have made us prisoners of disobedience and depravity of the mind and heart,  who have already given their HEARTS and LIVES to the ONE and ONLY ONE able to break those chains.  They are the ones who have been SET FREE!  And are no longer held in bondage to the wretched sins that so EASILY beset us. 

 

There is ONLY ONE WAY to be SET FREE from the sins that plague us and ravage our lives with heartache and despair.  That WAY is through “BELIEVING IN JESUS CHRIST.”  When we are living in sin our lives are compelled by those sins that have taken over our minds, hearts, and souls and thus we become PRISONERS of THOSE SINS, and they become our TASKMASTERS.  They lead us down paths that we may not want to take, but because of our SINFUL NATURE, we give in to the temptations.  And we feel that there is no HOPE for our freedom from those sins that hold us captive.

 

But I have GOOD NEWS!!  There is a way to be SET FREE, and that way is through belief in Jesus Christ, the ONLY ONE who is ABLE to BREAK your CHAINS and SET YOU FREE.  All you have to do is:  CONFESS your sins to God and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING with ALL your HEART that Jesus died for you and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and be SET FREE.    Do it NOW, while you STILL can.  He’s waiting!!!

No One Knows the Day or Time!

 

 

No one knows the day or the time.  The angels in heaven don’t know, and the Son himself doesn’t know.  Only the Father knows.  So watch out and be ready!  You don’t know when the time will come. 

But if He comes suddenly, don’t let Him find you asleep.  I tell everyone just what I have told you.  Be alert!---------Mark 13: 32,33, 36, 37

 

We can look around us on every land mass there seems to be some form of chaos or trouble brewing, if not already boiling.  And FEAR of the unknown GRIPS the hearts of mankind.  People are sensing that something is about to take place, but MANY do not know what that something is and that puts FEAR in their hearts.  It puts FEAR in their hearts because they feel unprepared for what is coming and trust me IT IS COMING!!!

 

We that are God’s Children KNOW what is coming and to us it brings EXCITEMENT, JOY, and ANTICIPATION, at the thought of what we KNOW to be the RAPTURE of God’s Children from this earth, just before He pours out His wrath on this WRETCHED, SIN-RIDDEN, WORLD. We do NOT KNOW the day or time, but we can KNOW the season, by the things that are already taking place.  But NO ONE KNOWS, the exact day or time, not even the angels or the very own Son, Himself.  ONLY the Father KNOWS.  The Scripture says that we need to WATCH OUT and be READY!!  Are you READY?  It could COME at any time. 

 

Don’t put off what could determine your ETERNAL DESTINY.  You need to be READY to TAKE FLIGHT.   This old world will experience the wrath of a RIGHTEOUS, HOLY GOD after the RAPTURE of God’s Children and you DEFINITELY don’t want to have to go through that HORRENDOUS TIME known as the TRIBULATION!  It will be like NOTHING this world has ever experienced.  So make SURE your house is in order.  Then join the FAMILY OF GOD and WATCH OUT AND BE ALERT!!  BE READY!!  HE’S COMING!!!

 

If you are NOT READY, because you have NEVER given your HEART to Jesus.  You can get READY NOW!!! BY: CONFESSING your sins to God and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU, and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION.  Do it NOW, while you STILL can.  DON’T BE LEFT BEHIND!!!  He’s waiting.

Keep your tongue from evil and your lips from deceitful speech.  Turn away from evil and do what is good; seek peace and pursue it.--------Psalms 34:13-14

 

 

We live in a world and time where TRUTH is more and more being overtaken by the elements of UNTRUTH.  We see this taking place in our GOVERNMENT, our FAMILIES, our SCHOOLS, and in the different venues of our SOCIETY.   This has changed the FACE of our NATION, we are losing our CREDITABILITY with other nations and we have arrived at a place in time where we are so CLOSE to not being able to distinguish between the TRUTH and LIES.  And it is costing us dearly, we are losing the WHOLESOMENESS of what use to be the MIGHTIEST NATION on the face of the earth, the GODLY PRINCIPLES that this nation was built upon, has been replaced with MAN’S PRINCIPLES and look around and see where that has taken us.

 

God issues a pretty STRONG message to us, if we enjoy and want to continue to enjoy a LONG, PROSPEROUS LIFE.  We must KEEP our tongue from evil and our lips from telling lies.  We must NOT ACCEPT the LIES as the TRUTH and live our lives according to those lies, but we are to LIVE our lives according to the TRUTH.  And we do that by TURNING AWAY FROM evil and do what is GOOD and RIGHT in the eyes of ALMIGHTY GOD.   We are to SEEK PEACE and PURSUE it.  SEEK and PURSUE, these words gives us the indication that we are to DILIGENTLY GO AFTER PEACE.  We are not to SAY or DO ANYTHING that would cause turmoil or chaos, but we need to be a PEACEFUL people who desire a PEACEFUL lifestyle. 

 

If you have NEVER given your HEART and LIFE to Jesus then you are NOT His child, and your life may be filled with lies and you may not be living in peace.  You may be living in CHAOS and TURMOIL.  But you can change that by following these SIMPLE, but IMPORTANT steps:  CONFESS your sins to God and ask His for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU and is ALIVE, in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION.  Do it NOW, while you STILL can.  He’s waiting!!!

The Best Choice!

 

 

You, LORD, are all I want!  You are my choice, and You keep me safe.  You make my life pleasant, and my future is bright.--------Psalm 16:5-6

 

We are faced with many choices each day, from the moment we awake to the moment we fall asleep.  Our lives are filled with having to make a choice about something that we are or will be facing. 

 

Sometimes we RUSH headlong into a choice that is NOT a GOOD choice to make, then we are faced with the CONSEQUENCES of our choice and in a lot of instances we have to live with a choice that is irreversible.  A choice that can affect more than just us. 

 

But there is ONE CHOICE that we HAVE to make and that is the choice of where we will spend ALL of ETERNITY!  This is the MOST IMPORTANT CHOICE that a person will EVER make.  The Psalmist says: “You, LORD, are ALL I want!  You are my CHOICE!”  He has declared his choice and his ETERNAL DESTINY.  He goes on to say:  “You make my life PLEASANT, and my future is BRIGHT.” Having made the RIGHT CHOICE, he has the ASSURANCE of Heaven, which makes life more BEARABLE and therefore it becomes more PLEASANT, then to top it off he has the ASSURANCE of his FUTURE or ETERNAL DESTINY, which make his FUTURE a BRIGHT one.

 

Have you made a CHOICE yet as to where you will spend your FUTURE or ETERNITY?  If you have, is it the RIGHT CHOICE?  Will it make your life BEARABLE?  Can you say that your FUTURE is a BRIGHT one?  You can make the RIGHT CHOICE, and NOT just RIGHT but the BEST CHOICE that you will EVER make, right now, by:  CONFESSING your sins to God and asking for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, that Jesus died for YOU, and is ALIVE, in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION.  Do it NOW, while you STILL can.  He’s waiting!!!

The Brevity of Life

 

 

“Lord, remind me how brief my time on earth will be.  Remind me that my days are numbered---how fleeting my life is.  You have made my life no longer than the width of my hand.  My entire lifetime is just a moment to You; at best, each of us is but a breath.”---------Psalm 39:4-5

 

 

Nobody knows when they will leave this earth in death.  Only God knows the exact time we will leave.  However, we can know that life is, as the Psalmist says, “but a breath.”  HERE today, GONE tomorrow. 

 

Yet some people live like they are INVINCEABLE, GAMBLING with death, trying to CHEAT death, by living a WRECKLESS, SINFUL lifestyle, doing things that are LIFE-THREATENING for a mere fleeting thrill and that thrill could be what takes that person to meet their ETERNAL DESTINY,  that some are NOT prepared to face. 

 

Some face the END of their life through illness, or diseases that ravage not only the quality but the quantity of their life.  The diseases that threaten our lives are NO RESPECTER OF AGE.  A person, is at RISK of leaving this earth from the effects of diseases at ANY AGE, from BIRTH to a very OLD age. 

 

Some face the END of their life through crimes, accidents, or suicides, things that may be caused by someone else or even by their own RECKLESS actions.  Nevertheless, they are SWEPT away to face their ETERNAL DESTINY.

 

No one is EXEMPT from DEATH or ETERNITY, It is coming to us all, in one way or the other.  We have no say in the way we will leave this earth, but we DO have a CHOICE in our ETERNAL DESTINY.  DON’T GAMBLE WITH WHERE YOU WILL SPEND ETERNITY!!!

 

Some of us are ASSURED of an ETERNITY in Heaven with God Almighty, because at some time we have made the CHOICE to ACCEPT Him and His gift of SALVATION, through His PRECIOUS Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.  So when we, who belong to Him, face the END of life we KNOW and look forward to our ETERNAL DESTINY, because of making the RIGHT CHOICE. 

 

Where will you spend your ETERNAL DESTINY?  Are you PREPARED?  If NOT you can be by:  CONFESSING your sins to God, asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU and is ALIVE, in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION.  Do it NOW, while you STILL can.  He’s waiting!!!

My Refuge and Strength

My Refuge and Strength

 

 

But as for me, I will sing about Your power.  Each morning I will sing with joy about Your unfailing love.  For Your have been my refuge, a place of safety when I am in distress.  O my Strength, to You I sing praises, for You, O God, are my refuge, the God who shows me unfailing love.--------Psalm 59:16-17

 

Some of the benefits to being a Child of the Living God are the assurances of having a REFUGE and STRENGTH in the times of our distress or indecisiveness, we have a STRONG and MIGHTY REFUGE in which to run to, a place of safety and solitude, a place to go to and find the SWEET RELIEF that our soul has been searching for.  A place where we can be in the presence of ALMIGHTY GOD, and to experience His GRACIOUS and MERCIFUL UNFAILING LOVE as it envelopes us and give us the PEACE that passes ALL understanding.

 

The Psalmist says:  “I will sing about Your power.  Each morning I will sing with JOY about Your UNFAILING LOVE.”  How many of us can TRUTHFULLY say that we have awaken ANY morning with JOY singing about the UNFAILING LOVE of God Almighty?  Now there have been SOME mornings when I wake up with a song in my heart and mind, but I must confess that I don’t do that EACH morning.  BUT we as God’s Children, need to LEARN from the Psalmist, we DO have MUCH to SING with JOY about, EACH morning.  Our SALVATION alone should evoke in us the CONTINUAL ATTITUDE OF PRAISE for the ONE and ONLY ONE who has provided us with an ETERNITY with HIM.  Then there is the fact that we can CONTINUALLY be in HIS presence, because He is our STRENGTH and REFUGE when we are in distress.  And we can awaken EACH morning singing with JOY because of His UNFAILING JOY.

 

If you have NEVER given your HEART and LIFE to Him, then you REALLY don’t have any reason to be able to wake up EACH morning, SINGING with JOY in your HEART.  But you can have that STRENGTH and REFUGE in your times of distress and indecisiveness, by:  CONFESSSING your sins to God and asking Him for His FORGIVENIESS, BELIEVING with ALL your HEART that Jesus died for YOU and is ALIVE, in Heaven, making intercession for you before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION.  Do it NOW, while you STILL can.  He’s waiting!!!

My lips will shout for joy when I sing praise to You because You have redeemed me.--------Psalm 71: 23

 

 

These are some questions for the, REDEEMED, THE BLOOD BOUGHT, SANCTIFIED CHILD OF THE LIVING GOD.  Have you ever just sat and thought about what your REDEMPTION has or is doing for YOU?

Just what does your SALVATION mean to YOU?  Are you walking in His presence daily?  Are you full of HOPE in the ONE and ONLY ONE who can make a BIG difference in your eternity?  Do you put your FAITH and TRUST in Him and Him ALONE?  Have you ever come CLOSE to death, close enough to make you think about how glad you are to be REDEEMED by the PRECIOUS, SHED BLOOD of the RISEN LAMB? 

 

Every day that we wake up and make plans for that day, we have a choice to FOLLOW the leadership of the Holy Spirit or whether we will follow our own path, not knowing what that day may hold.  We may not make it back home.  We may end up meeting that appointed time, the time we face our eternity.  NOBODY has or has ever had a “contract on life”  they aren’t GUARANTEED the next second so to realize that life is like a vapor, here one second and gone the next should make us take into consideration the benefits of being ONE of God’s REDEEMED.

 

Those benefits are:  The assurance of Heaven for ALL of ETERNITY, No more sickness or pain, no sadness or despair, no more crying or heartache, no more sin and wickedness, no more worries or frustrations and so much LOVE, PEACE, AND JOY UNSPEAKABLE.  I could go on and on, but I think you get the picture of the HOPE and ASSURANCE a REDEEMED person has concerning his/her future as a REDEEMED CHILD OF THE LIVING GOD. 

 

We have SO MUCH to SHOUT and SING about because the future for the REDEEMED of God, only gets BRIGHTER and BRIGHTER as time goes by.  However, if you are not REDEEMED then you do NOT have the HOPE and ASSURANCE of your future or eternity, but you can by:  CONFESSING your sins to God and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING with ALL your HEART that Jesus died for YOU and is ALIVE, in Heaven, making intercession, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION.  Do it NOW, while you STILL can.  He’s waiting!!!

The Power within Us!

 

 

I pray that He may grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power in the inner man through His Spirit.  Now to Him who is able to do above and beyond all that we ask or think according to the power that works in us.--------Ephesians 3:16, 20

 

Isn’t it EXCITING to know that we, who are God’s Children, BELIEVERS, have that kind of POWER inside of us just waiting to be tapped into for the purpose of being used by God Almighty’s Spirit to help further His GLORIOUS KINGDOM.

 

It SHOULD bring those Holy Ghost bumps to the surface, to think that that kind of POWER actually resides in us.  That should make us want to SHOUT to the rooftops that “JESUS SAVES AND THERE IS SALVATION IN NO OTHER!”  He does ALL the work, all we have to do is be AVAILABLE to Him and His Holy Spirit and ALLOW His Spirit to WORK in and through us to ACCOMPLISH His will.

 

In verse twenty we see the Apostle Paul bringing out the fact of just what kind of POWER is in us.  He says:  “to Him (God), who is able to do ABOVE and BEYOND ALL that we ASK or THINK according to the POWER that works in us.”  ABOVE and BEYOND ALL that we ASK or THINK, I don’t know about you, but my brain is telling me that that is SOME KIND OF AWESOME POWER, and to know that that kind of POWER is working in us is AMAZING, all we have to do is to make ourselves AVAILABLE to God and to LET GO and LET GOD be GOD in us.  Are you READY to do that?   Just TRUST Him and He’ll do the rest.

 

If you have NEVER given your HEART and LIFE to Jesus, then you don’t have that kind of POWER living in you, but you could, if you would just:  CONFESS your sins to God and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION.  Do it NOW, while you STILL can.  He’s waiting

 

 

To Judge or Not to Judge

To Judge or Not to Judge!

 

 

In my other letter I told you not to have anything to do with immoral people.  But I wasn’t talking about the people of this world.  You would have to leave this world to get away from everyone who is immoral or greedy or who cheats or worships idols.  I was talking about your own people who are immoral or greedy or who cheats or worships idols or curse others or get drunk or cheat.  Don’t even eat with them!  Why should I judge outsiders?  Aren’t we supposed to judge only church members?  God judges everyone else.  The Scriptures say, “Chase away any of your own people who are evil.--------1Corinthians 5:9-13

 

 

This is the Apostle Paul’s letter to the Corinthian Church, in this letter, Paul is giving them advice on CHURCH DISCIPLINE.  There seem to have been a problem of IMMORAL CHURCH MEMBERS, those who were IN the church and STILL PRACTICING or LIVING an IMMORAL LIFE.

 

Paul’s instructions to that Church was pretty cut and dried.  He first lets the Church know who, exactly he was talking about.  He says that it is NOT the WORLDLY PEOPLE but those who PROFESS to be FOLLOWERS and are MEMBERS of the Church and STILL LIVING IN SIN. 

 

He tells them that it is NOT his job to judge the OUTSIDERS (worldly people) but that it IS the job of the TRUE BELIEVERS that are CHURCH MEMBERS to JUDGE those that are IN the Church and STILL PRACTICE their IMMORALITY.  He ends his instructions with words of AUTHORITY, from the SCRIPTURES:  “Chase away any of your own people who are evil.” 

 

A LOT of people have argued about whether we, as church members, have the right to judge other church members, I believe that God’s word plainly tells us whether we have that right or not.  I do want to say that I believe that this is probably the last thing to do, after the immoral church member has been visited with the options to REPENT or TURN AWAY from their IMMORAL lifestyle and they REFUSE to do so. 

 

The Word of God is the WORD OF GOD, whether we think it is RIGHT or NOT, it is STILL THE WORD OF GOD and we as His Children need to OBEY IT.  NOTICE, also Paul instructs the Church to NOT even EAT with them.   His words are pretty strong, but it is EXACTLY what God desires and EXPECTS of those who are TRUE MEMBERS of the BODY OF CHRIST.  

 

The PURPOSE of CHURCH DISCIPLINE is NOT to CAST  the individual out of the Church PERMANENTLY, but to bring about RESTORATION of the ERRING MEMBER and to bring them back into the CHURCH BODY after a TRUE REPENTANCE is made.

 

If you have never given your HEART and LIFE to Jesus, and are LIVING in SIN, then you can change your lifestyle by:  CONFESSING your sins to God and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART that Jesus died for YOU and is ALIVE, in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION.  Do it NOW, while you STILL can.  He’s waiting!!!

 

If you’re a TRUE BELIEVER and are in a Church where you KNOW that there are MEMBERS or a MEMBER that is LIVING IN SIN and the Church is doing NOTHING to correct it,(CHURCH DISCIPLINE)  you need to find out why and if they are not abiding by the WORD OF GOD.  I would find another Church to worship in.  Just saying!

An Example to Follow

 

 

I have given you an example to follow. Do as I have done to you.--------John 13:15

 

 

These are the words spoken by Jesus to His disciples, just after He had washed their feet.  ‘He had loved them during His ministry on earth, and now He loved them to the end.’ (v. 1) He humbled Himself, the King of kings and Lord of lords, was now the SERVANT to them, He SERVED them, instead of them SERVING Him.

 

Jesus has set the EXAMPLE of SERVITUDE for ALL of the CHILDREN OF GOD to FOLLOW. The question is are we FOLLOWING HIS EXAMPLE?  Or are we WAITING to be SERVED by Him.  When one gives their HEART and LIFE to Christ, it’s not so we can sit on our laurels and wait for the King of kings to SERVE US at our beckoning call.  We are His SERVANT and we NEED to FOLLOW HIS EXAMPLE.

 

He instructs us to “DO as I have done to you.”  We are to SERVE because we are His SERVANTS.  We are to minister to each other and to others.  We like Christ, should have enough LOVE in our hearts for our FELLOW BELIEVERS to WANT to SERVE THEM.  We should have enough LOVE in our heart for THE SINNER that we would WANT to SERVE THEM.  Jesus knew who His betrayer was and He knew that the betrayer was in the room, where He was SERVING the disciples.  Yet Jesus, having the heart of a SERVANT, WILLINGLY SERVED the very one that would betray Him.

 

Our ACTIONS as a SERVANT to the SINNER may be just the thing that would spur them on to SALVATION through the ACTIONS of the King of kings that had the HEART of a SERVANT.  IF we use the title of CHRISTIAN, which means “CHRISTLIKE” then we NEED to be LIKE Him and exemplify a SERVANT’S HEART.  Are you FOLLOWING His EXAMPLE?

 

If you have NEVER given your heart to Christ then you can’t FOLLOW His EXAMPLE of SERVITUDE, but you can FOLLOW Satan’s EXAMPLE of being SELF-CENTERED and ONLY SERVING your own SELFISH desires right into HELL with ALL the other SELF-CENTERED SINNERS for ALL ETERNITY.  But you have the OPPORTUNITY to change your direction and FOLLOW Christ, by:  CONFESSING your sins to God and asking for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU and is ALIVE, in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION.  Do it NOW, while you STILL can.  He’s waiting!!!

Even in the night I think about you, LORD, and I obey your Law. You have blessed me because I have always followed your teachings, You, LORD, are my choice, and I will obey you.---------Psalm 119:55-57

 

The Psalmist, here, is expressing his FAITHFULNESS to the Lord, through his obedience in following the teachings of Almighty God.  He says that “Even in the night I think about you, Lord.”  His heart is so attuned to the LORD that he CONTINUALLY thinks about the LORD and his OBEDIENCE to His LAW.

 

FOLLOWING and OBEDIENCE usually go hand in hand.  In most cases if one FOLLOWS a person they will be OBEDIENT to them or they will FALL AWAY, and CEASE to FOLLOW and not be OBEDIENT to the one they were FOLLOWING.  IF you choose to be OBEDIENT to the LORD then you will be FOLLOWING HIM, because you are OBEDIENT to His teachings or law and that makes you a FOLLOWER OF HIM.

 

If one chooses to FOLLOW the ways of this WORLD, then they will be OBEDIENT to WORLD WAYS, and WORLDLY WAYS AND GODLY WAYS do NOT mix.  You WILL have to choose to whom you will FOLLOW and be OBEDIENT to.  If you choose to FOLLOW and be OBEDIENT to the WORLDLY WAYS then you will receive the JUDGMENT from God, for those that are WORLDLY MINDED.  If you choose to FOLLOW and be OBEDIENT to the LORD and His teachings, you will receive a GREAT REWARD, an ETERNITY with Him and ALL THE BLESSINGS of HEAVEN.

 

So it’s up to YOU, CHOOSE THIS DAY, who you will FOLLOW and OBEY!   You can have an ETERNITY in HEAVEN with the LORD by:  CONFESSING your sins to God and asking for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU and is ALIVE, in Heaven, making intercession for you before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION.  Do it NOW, while you STILL can.  He’s waiting!!!

Some people’s sins are obvious, going before them to judgment, but the sins of others surface later.  Likewise, good works are obvious, and those that are not obvious cannot remain hidden.--------1Timothy 5:24-25

 

This passage of Scripture tells us that SINS and GOOD WORKS have the same outcomes in common.  The SINS of mankind are divided into two categories:  THE OBVIOUS and THE HIDDEN.  However those sins that are HIDDEN NOW will someday come to light, and WILL BE JUDGED at the JUDGMENT SEAT of CHRIST.  So in essence they are not put UNDERCOVER forever, but will be brought to LIGHT.  Whatever SIN done in DARKNESS WILL be brought out into the LIGHT for ALL to see.  Those who commit SINS whether OPENLY or HIDDEN WILL BE judged and put under CONDEMNATION.

 

Likewise with GOOD WORKS some are OBVIOUS and seen or experienced by others.  Some are NOT OBVIOUS and are NOT SEEN, but may be experienced by others.  Those that are done anonymously WILL NOT be HIDDEN forever.  They too will be brought to LIGHT, and those that do the GOOD WORKS, whether OPEN or HIDDEN WILL BE judged and REWARDED for those works done THROUGH the HOLY SPIRIT.

 

We ALL SIN and FALL SHORT of the glory of God, the difference is the Child of God is FORGIVEN of PAST, PRESENT and FUTURE SINS, they are COVERED by the PRECIOUS SHED BLOOD of our LORD JESUS CHRIST. However this does NOT give us, as Children of God, a license to SIN.  A TRUE Child of God will NOT have the DESIRE, in our hearts, to SIN against God, but since we are in the flesh, we STUMBLE and FALL, and when we do, we come under CONVICTION and are led by the Holy Spirit to REPENT of the SINS that we commit. 

 

But those who have NEVER TRULY given their HEART and LIFE to Christ, have a DESIRE to SIN against God and are under CONDEMNATION until they come under CONVICTION and REPENT of their SINS, both OBVIOUS and HIDDEN.  If you fall into this category, I am here to tell you that you have the opportunity to come out from under the CONDEMNATION that will bring judgment upon you and send you to an ETERNITY in that HORRIBLE, EXCRUCIATINGLY PAINFUL, place known as HELL.  Where you will NEVER get relief or EVER be set FREE.  All you need to do is:  CONFESS your sins to God and ask for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART that Jesus died for YOU and is ALIVE, in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION.  Do it NOW, while you STILL can.  He’s waiting!!!

Who dares accuse us whom God has chosen for His own?  No one---for God Himself has given us right standing with Himself.  Who then will condemn us?  No one---for Christ Jesus died for us and was raised to life for us, and He is sitting in the place of honor at God’s right hand, pleading for us.---------Romans 8:33-34

 

There is NO ONE who can come before Holy God and bring accusation against His Children, because through the SHED BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST, we have been made RIGHTEOUS, or we have a RIGHT STANDING with God, Himself.  So who would dare to do such a thing?  I believe that Satan is ALWAYS TRYING to accuse God’s Children, but Father God just looks at Him, points at Jesus and Jesus stands and says “their COVERED by the BLOOD!”

 

Who would dare try to CONDEMN God’s OWN Child, ESPECIALLY, after what Jesus Christ has done for us.  He took our CONDEMNATION, by the SHEDDING of HIS OWN PRECIOUS BLOOD, He took OUR sentence and OUR punishment for OUR sins and NAILED THEM TO AN OLD RUGGED CROSS.  And He is sitting in the place of HONOR at the RIGHT HAND of ALMIGHTY GOD INTERCEDING or PLEADING for us before God, whenever that old slew-foot devil comes before the throne of the ALMIGHTY God, I believe that Jesus stands before God and says, “This ONE belongs to US.  Their sins are covered by My blood and they are FREE, for I have set them FREE from their bondage and since I have set them FREE they are indeed FREE!!”  Then the Almighty sends that devil on his way, defeated by King Jesus.

 

If you have NEVER given your HEART and LIFE to Jesus Christ, then you are not ONE OF HIS, and when the devil comes to the throne of the Almighty God, accusing YOU.  The ONLY thing that God can do is PRONOUNCE you GUILTY, and CONDEMN you to an ETERNITY in HELL.  But you can change that VERDICT and have a RIGHT STANDING with ALMIGHTY GOD and the PERPETUAL INTERCEDING of Jesus Christ on your behalf, by:  CONFESSING your sins to God and ask for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU and is ALIVE, in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of Salvation.  Do it NOW, while you STILL can.  He’s waiting!!!

When you go through deep waters, I will be with you.

When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown.

When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. 

For I am the Lord, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior.--------Isaiah 43:2-3

 

This passage of Scripture is for the BELIEVER, and should bring ASSURANCE, STRENGTH, and CONSOLATION to our weary souls.  Here, the Lord God, Almighty is telling His Children that no matter what we are facing He is WITH US. 

 

NOTICE; He doesn’t tell us that we WON’T have to go through HARD times, but He DOES tell us that He WILL be WITH us when we go through the HARD times.

 

When we go through rivers of difficulty, we WILL NOT drown.  We WILL GO through DIFFICULTIES, but they will not bring us DOWN.  They WILL NOT destroy us, because HE is with us through those difficulties and will see us through.  If we put our FAITH and TRUST in HIM.  He will PLACE our feet on dry ground. 

 

When we walk through the fire of oppression, we WILL NOT be burned up; the flames WILL NOT consume us, because HE will be with us.  We WILL face the fire of oppression that will come from many different directions but the flames of the oppression WILL NOT consume us. If we put our FAITH and TRUST in HIM.  HE will take us through the fire and it WILL NOT consume us.   He takes care of His Children because He is OUR SAVIOR.

 

If you are NOT His Child, then when you go through the rivers of difficulty, your risks of drowning in those difficulties and being overtaken by them,  and being TAKEN DOWN  by them  are GREAT.  The risks of being burned up, or CONSUMED by the flames of oppression too, are GREAT.  But when you become a Child of God, He will get you THROUGH the RIVERS OF DIFFICULTIES and THE FIRE of OPPRESSIONS, if you will; CONFESS your sins to God, asking for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your Heart, that Jesus died for YOU and is your SAVIOR and LORD, and is in Heaven, making intercession for you before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION.  Do it NOW, while you STILL can.  He’s waiting!!!

Praise the Lord; praise God our savior!  For each day He carries us in His arms.                                                      

Our God is a God who saves!  The Sovereign Lord rescues us from death.--------Psalm 68:19-20

 

What an AWESOME God!  To know that His MERCY and GRACE is from EVERLASTING to EVERLASTING.  We, who are His Children have the ASSURANCE that He KNOWS and CARES about ALL our situations!  He is the ROCK we lean on, and His STRONG ARMS carries us through each day. 

 

We, His Children are so BLESSED and should, without reservation, PRAISE HIM for ALL He does and has ever done for us.  He TRULY is our SAVIOR, and because of His MERCY and Grace.  He has rescued us from a HORRIBLE FATE of a SPIRITUAL DEATH.

 

When we leave this world, through a PHYSICAL DEATH, we also experience a SPIRITUAL DEATH.  The PHYSICAL DEATH is what happens to the PHYSICAL BODY, and the SPIRITUAL DEATH is what happens to the SOUL. 

 

When a person dies without Christ in their heart and life their SOULS end up in a HORRIBLE place that is void of ANYTHING that is GOOD, COMFORTING, PLEASING, LOVING, ANYTHING that would bring PEACE and SOLACE to their souls, that destination is a place, we call HELL.  A place of TORMENT, ANGUISH, UNENDING PAIN and DESPAIR THROUGHOUT ALL ETERNITY.

 

When a Child of the Living God dies they are immediately taken to a place that is full of JOY UNSPEAKABLE, PEACE, LOVE, COMFORT, and GOODNESS.  So much awaits the Child of the Living God that is beyond what the mortal mind can conceive.  We have SO much to look forward to.  And ALL because of God’s AMAZING GRACE!  That is why we should CONTINUALLY lift up our PRAISES to our LORD who is our SAVIOR, REDEEMER AND KING.

 

If you have never given your HEART and LIFE to the Lord, then you’re headed for a SPIRITUAL DEATH that is of a HORRIBLE, MISERABLE, UNENDING TORTOUROUS ETERNITY.  REMEMBER that the PLEASURES of your SINS are ONLY for the extent of your lifetime, but the HORRIBLE, TORTOUROUS MISERY will be for ALL ETERNITY.  You can change your destination NOW, by:  CONFESSING your sins to God and asking for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU and is ALIVE, in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION.  Do it NOW, while you STILL can.  He’s waiting!!!

Send your light and your truth to guide me.  Then I will worship at your altar because you make me joyful.  You are my God, and I will praise you.  …I trust you, LORD!  And I will praise you again because you help me, and you are my God.------Psalms 43:3,4,5b

 

 

Our God is LIGHT and TRUTH and is waiting to give us guidance in our lives as we SEEK His will for us and open up our WHOLE HEARTS to the leadership of His Holy Spirit.  That is ONE reason we offer up to Him our WORSHIP and PRAISE.

 

He is FAITHFUL to guide us, when we allow Him to, and when we ALLOW HIS LEADERSHIP in our lives, He fills us with His JOY UNSPEAKABLE and that is ANOTHER reason why we offer up to Him our WORSHIP and PRAISE.

 

When we put our TRUST in Him, He is FAITHFUL to HELP us in our WALK with Him, and will guide us in the way we SHOULD go.  He is our TRUSTWORTHY HELPER and we can call on Him ANYTIME and ANYWHERE, and that is ANOTHER reason why we offer up to Him our WORSHIP and PRAISE.

 

Apart from ALL that He does for us, our MAIN REASON to offer up to Him our WORSHIP and PRAISE is because of the INTENSE LOVE we have for our HEAVENLY FATHER.  So I pray that ALL of His Children are offering up to Him the WORSHIP and PRAISE that HE ALONE is WORTHY of.

A Message to God’s Children!

 

 

“For the mountains may move and the hills disappear, but even then My faithful love for you will remain.  My covenant of blessing will never be broken,” says the Lord, who has mercy on you.--------Isaiah 54:10

 

 

This passage of Scripture was originally written for the nation of Israel, concerning God’s ETERNAL COVENANT with the nation.  However, I believe that it was put in His Holy Word for ALL of His Children to read and to KNOW that it pertains to anyone who has been grafted into God’s family.

 

These are words of COMFORT, COMPASSION and ASSURANCE for those of us who belong to Him.  It is what the WEARY, BEATEN-DOWN, WEAKEND Child of the living God desperately needs to hear.  And the message I believe that God wants ALL of His children to KNOW, WITHOUT DOUBT,  that when the ground beneath our feet is crumbling and there seems to be no way out for us, He makes a WAY, in our DARKEST moments He is STILL FAITHFUL and His FAITHFUL LOVE will NOT FAIL us.  He WILL SEE US THROUGH.

 

His PROMISES are ALWAYS TRUE and will NEVER be BROKEN.  His MERCY is ALWAYS AVAILABLE to US, and He will NEVER LEAVE US nor FORSAKE US, and ALL BECAUSE of His FAITHFUL, EVERLASTING LOVE that is SUFFICIENT for us and will ALWAYS SUSTAIN us.  God is MERCIFUL, LOVING, AND GRACIOUS to His Children.  GOD IS GREAT!!  GOD IS GOOD!!
