The Best Choice!

The Best Choice!

 

 

You, LORD, are all I want!  You are my choice, and You keep me safe.  You make my life pleasant, and my future is bright.--------Psalm 16:5-6

 

We are faced with many choices each day, from the moment we awake to the moment we fall asleep.  Our lives are filled with having to make a choice about something that we are or will be facing. 

 

Sometimes we RUSH headlong into a choice that is NOT a GOOD choice to make, then we are faced with the CONSEQUENCES of our choice and in a lot of instances we have to live with a choice that is irreversible.  A choice that can affect more than just us. 

 

But there is ONE CHOICE that we HAVE to make and that is the choice of where we will spend ALL of ETERNITY!  This is the MOST IMPORTANT CHOICE that a person will EVER make.  The Psalmist says: “You, LORD, are ALL I want!  You are my CHOICE!”  He has declared his choice and his ETERNAL DESTINY.  He goes on to say:  “You make my life PLEASANT, and my future is BRIGHT.” Having made the RIGHT CHOICE, he has the ASSURANCE of Heaven, which makes life more BEARABLE and therefore it becomes more PLEASANT, then to top it off he has the ASSURANCE of his FUTURE or ETERNAL DESTINY, which make his FUTURE a BRIGHT one.

 

Have you made a CHOICE yet as to where you will spend your FUTURE or ETERNITY?  If you have, is it the RIGHT CHOICE?  Will it make your life BEARABLE?  Can you say that your FUTURE is a BRIGHT one?  You can make the RIGHT CHOICE, and NOT just RIGHT but the BEST CHOICE that you will EVER make, right now, by:  CONFESSING your sins to God and asking for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, that Jesus died for YOU, and is ALIVE, in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION.  Do it NOW, while you STILL can.  He’s waiting!!!
