“The Great Spiritual Divide”

 

 

The acts of the flesh are obvious:  sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like.  I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.        Galatians 5:19-23a

 

For a while now, I have heard some say that we have a SERIOUS DIVIDE in our nation, and I must agree, however, I believe that the DIVIDE is NOT a RACIAL DIVIDE nor an ECONOMICAL DIVIDE, and NOT even a POLITICAL DIVIDE, but it is a VERY GREAT SPIRITUAL DIVIDE.  And it is NOT limited to OUR nation alone.

During the Inauguration of our President, there were many different protests being carried on.  Some were VIOLENT in nature, UNGODLY, LAWLESS THINGS were done.  At the beginning of the week we were exposed to MORE UNGODLY, DEPRAVITY, FILTHY WORDS, POSTERS, and PICTURES.  These actions are indications of people living in the FLESH.  Those whose destination is HELL, the place of ETERNAL torment, torture, pain, heartache, agony and despair with NO ESCAPE.  

 

The Apostle Paul, warns those who live by the FLESH, of their coming demise.  He says that those who live this way will NOT INHERIT the KINGDOM of GOD, which means they will NOT get into HEAVEN, but will spend ALL of ETERNITY in HELL.   But those who live by the Spirit of the Living God, WILL inherit the KINGDOM of GOD.  Who are the ones who live by the Spirit?  They are the ones who have given their HEARTS and LIVES to God, through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, and exemplifies the fruit of the Spirit, love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. 

 

Our world is SERIOUSLY DIVIDED with a DEEP SPIRITUAL DIVISION, we have those who live by the FLESH and those who live by the SPIRIT.  When Jesus comes back in the clouds and gathers up ALL of the TRUE CHILDREN of God, which is known as the RAPTURE, the only ones left on this DOOMED EARTH will be those who live by the FLESH.  Those who practice acts of sexual immorality, impurity, debauchery; idolatry, witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealously, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions, envy; drunkenness, orgies, and rebellions, murders, and LAWLESSNESS personified. 

 

If you are living in the FLESH and have NO HOPE for HEAVEN, God is giving you an opportunity to CHANGE your destiny, by coming to Him with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, CONFESSING your sins to Him and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU, and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and start living by the Spirit, with the HOPE of an ETERNITY in Heaven.  Do it NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!
