“The Remedy for SIN”
If You,
Lord, kept a record of sins, Lord, who could stand? But with You there is forgiveness, so that we
can, with reverence, serve You.
Psalm 130:3, 4
ALL TRUE
BELIEVERS should be really HAPPY that God doesn’t keep a record of our
sins. We should be OVERJOYED that we
aren’t held accountable for our sins.
And we won’t face JUDGMENT for them either.
In Psalm
103:10-12, tells us: He does not treat
us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities. For as high as the heavens are above the
earth, so great is His love for those who fear Him; as far as the east is from
the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us. This should make us want to SHOUT
HALLELUJAH!!! That is if you are a TRUE
BELIEVER.
The Psalmist
in our Scripture, today, Psalm 130:3, 4, recognized that if God kept a record
of ALL our sins and dealt with us according to what we deserved, NO ONE could
stand. We would definitely be
doomed. However, we have CONFIDENCE in
the fact that God has a REMEDY for our sins that REMEDY is: His FORGIVENESS,
which is so wonderfully explained in Psalm 103.
Because of
His FORGIVENESS, the TRUE BELIEVER is NOT held accountable and will not have to
face the JUDGMENT SEAT of the Almighty God, for their sins. They are FORGIVEN and FORGOTTEN, and because
of this the Lord is NOT keeping a record of our sins. The FORGIVENESS of God cannot be treated
lightly. It takes a WRETCHED, FILTHY,
UNRIGHTEOUS, SINNER and turn them into a HOLY, CLEANSED, RIGHTEOUS SAINT. It is DEFINITELY a LIFE-CHANGING experience.
With God’s
FORGIVENESS, the TRUE BELIEVER can, with REVERENCE or FEAR, not being afraid,
but having a godly reverence for the Almighty God, worship and serve Him in
obedience and confidence.
If you have not given your HEART and LIFE to
God, then your sins have NOT been FORGIVEN or FORGOTTEN, and you will have to
face the JUDGMENT SEAT of the ALMIGHTY GOD, who will hold you ACCOUNTABLE and
give you the sentence you deserve.
So why not
come to Him NOW, and receive His REMEDY for your SIN-SICK SOUL, and be FORGIVEN
of your sins. You do that by, coming to
Him with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, CONFESSING your sins to Him and asking Him for
His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU, and
is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His
gift of SALVATION, and receive His FORGIVENESS.
Do it NOW, while you still can.
He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!
