“The Sanctity of the Human Life”

 

For You created my inmost being; You knit me together in my mother’s womb.  I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Your works are wonderful, I know that full well.  My frame was not hidden from You when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.  Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in Your book before one of them came to be.      Psalm 139:13-16

 

The Psalmist, David, penned these words, which were his thoughts concerning the SANCTITY of the HUMAN LIFE.  He was OVERWHELMED with the AWESOMENESS of the Almighty God’s creative abilities to form such an intricate body out of a mass of LIVING cells.  Which God, Himself, brought into being in his mother’s womb. 

 

He came to realize just how FEARFULLY and WONDERFULLY made he was.   He knew that God was ACTIVELY involved in the formation of his body, from the point of conception to the day he would draw his last breath.  God’s presence was there watching and working in the reproduction process of forming the unformed body with the veins, arteries, all the organs, the beating of the tiny heart, with all its intricate parts, placing the brain in the skull of the head, connecting the nervous system, forming the lungs, the liver, the stomach, the whole digestive system, the pancreas, the kidneys, forming the arms and tiny hands and fingers that will one day wrap around the neck of a loving mommy and daddy in a loving gesture of a HUG. And legs with tiny feet and toes that will walk and run to mommy and daddy in excitement and joy.   And placing it all within the skeletal frame. Clothing it all with soft pink flesh. 

 

Even before the body is formed, ALL of the days of that precious life is ordained, planned for them and written in God’s book, before they are even born.   God knows us and has a plan for EVERY HUMAN BEING.  This is why abortion is SO WRONG.  Who is mankind that they would take it upon themselves to DESTROY a PRECIOUS, CREATION of the ALMIGHTY GOD, and do away with God’s plans for that HUMAN BEING?  One day, those who have carried out such horrendous deeds will stand before the RIGHTEOUS Judge and be judged and sentenced for their ungodly acts. 

 

When we are DISOBEDIENT to the laws and commands of the RIGHTEOUS GOD, who is CREATOR of EVERYTHING, we will be judged.  Most likely, if you are being DISOBEDIENT to God, and have very little regard for the SANCTITY of  HUMAN LIFE, then you probably have NOT TRULY come to God with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, CONFESSING, your sins to Him, and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART that Jesus died for YOU, and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, and ACCEPTING His gift of SALVATION, and OBEYING His LAWS and COMMANDS, having a STRONG REGARD for the SANCTITY of HUMAN LIFE, and receiving the HOPE of HEAVEN.  You NEED to do the above NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!
