"Are You Being Fruitful?"

“Are You Being Fruitful?”

 

“I am the true vine, and My Father is the gardener.   He cuts off every branch in Me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit He prunes so that it will be even more fruitful.”     John 15:1

 

These are the words of Jesus, spoken to His disciples, concerning the FRUITFULNESS of every TRUE BELIEVER.  He tells us that He is the TRUE VINE, and every branch, that bears NO FRUIT, He, the Gardener, Father God, CUTS OFF that branch, from the TRUE VINE. 

 

The BRANCHES that bears NO FRUIT are those who PROFESS to be FOLLOWERS of CHRIST, but they DON’T POSSESS the gift of TRUE SALVATION, which is given to those who come to God with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, they come accepting the concept of Christ, in their MINDS, but have not accepted it in their HEARTS, and they are NOT producing TRUE, LASTING FRUIT.  They are NOT experiencing a LIFE-CHANGING life-style.  But THINK they’re OK, because they walked an aisle and said a prayer.  That does NOT afford you the privilege of becoming a Child of the LIVING God.  You MUST have a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, and be FRUITFUL in your CHRISTIAN LIFE, or you will be CUT OFF of the TRUE VINE, the Lord Jesus Christ.    

 

For those who are TRUE BRANCHES, the Gardener, Father God, will PRUNE EVERY TRUE BRANCH, which is PRODUCING fruit, so that it might be MORE FRUITFUL.  These are those who have come to God with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, CONFESSING, their sins to Him and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL their HEARTS, that Jesus died for THEM, and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for them, before God, then they have ACCEPTED God’s gift of SALVATION, and have become TRUE BRANCHES that are FRUITFUL and on their way to an ETERNITY in Heaven.   You can become a TRUE FRUITFUL BRANCH with the HOPE of an ETERNITY in Heaven too, if you will do what they have done.  Do it NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!
