“The Healing of the Soul”

 

“He Himself bore our sins” in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by His wounds you have been healed.”       1 Peter 2:24

 

Jesus Christ willingly gave His life, so that mankind could be delivered from the SIN-SICK affliction that RAVAGED the souls of ALL mankind.   He who knew NO SIN, became SIN on the OLD, RUGGED cross, by taking on ALL the SIN of ALL mankind, who had ever lived, past, present, and future.    His DEATH, BURIAL, and RESURRECTION from the DEAD was what was NEEDED to bring a CURE for the SIN-SICK soul.

 

In His DEATH, Jesus was TORTURED, TORMENTED, and BEATEN beyond recognition.  The flesh was ripped from His back and sides.  His beard was plucked from His bloody, bruised face.  His eyes were swollen and black and blue.  His lips were split and bleeding.  NOT a pretty picture, but neither is the SIN-SICK soul.  By His wounds mankind has been HEALED.  This is NOT a physical healing, but it is a SPIRITUAL HEALING.  That mankind might DIE to their SINS and LIVE for RIGHTEOUSNESS sake.  Jesus Christ was/is the PERFECT HEALING for a SIN-SICK world.

 

He was laid in a borrowed tomb, which was owned by Joseph of Arimathea, a wealthy man, who had it hewn from a huge rock, and had a place for a very LARGE stone to be rolled back and forth, in front of the opening.   This was where the body of Jesus Christ was laid and the stone in front of the opening to the tomb was rolled into place and SEALED in order to keep people, mainly His disciples, out, and to keep His body in the tomb.  But on that third day, very early in the morning, while the guards were fast asleep, the earth shook and lightning flashed, and the stone was ROLLED AWAY, revealing an EMPTY TOMB, because JESUS was RESURRECTED from the DEAD and is ALIVE, this very day, in Heaven at the RIGHT hand of the ALMIGHTY GOD. 

 

And because HE is ALIVE, those who have TRULY GIVEN their HEARTS and LIVES to Him, are HEALED and ALIVE in CHRIST JESUS.  They are DEAD to SIN and ALIVE to RIGHTEOUSNESS.  Have you been HEALED from your SIN-SICKNESS?  You can be.  SIN-SICKNESS is a TERMINAL DISEASE of the SOUL and will send that soul straight to an ETERNITY in Hell, the place of UNENDING, torment, torture, heartache, pain, agony and despair, with NO WAY of ESCAPE, unless, you TURN AWAY FROM your SIN-SICK lifestyle, and TURN TO God, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, CONFESSING your sins to Him, and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU, and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and RECEIVE HEALING for your SIN-SICK soul.  Do it NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!
