I have swept away your sins like a cloud.  I have scattered your offenses like the morning mist.  Oh, return to Me, for I have paid the price to set you free.   Isaiah 44:22

 

The Prophet Isaiah is speaking to the Nation of Israel, concerning the restoration for Jerusalem.  He is reminding them of their PROMISED REDEMPTION.  I believe that this particular verse gives us a precise picture of the REDEMPTION of ALL MANKIND.  And the PRICE that was PAID to set us ALL FREE from our BONDAGE to SIN.  It gives us ASSURANCE of God’s AMAZING GRACE on our behalf.  

 

God had a PLAN for the REDEMPTION of MANKIND, already BEFORE the CROSS, and it was based on the CROSS alone.  He PROMISES to SWEEP AWAY our SINS like a CLOUD.  And to SCATTER our OFFENSES like the MORNING MIST.  In other words, He will WIPE OUT ALL our SINS.  And they will NOT be counted AGAINST those who will TURN AWAY FROM their SINS and TURN TO GOD with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  

 

This is made POSSIBLE because the PRICE was PAID to SET us FREE from the BONDAGE of our SINS. This was carried out when JESUS, God’s ONLY SON, shed His BLOOD on an OLD RUGGED CROSS, and was RESURRECTED from DEATH and the GRAVE. And those who come to JESUS to be SET FREE from their SINS and from an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS and NO WAY to ESCAPE, once they are there, will have the HOPE of HEAVEN and will spend their ETERNITY in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS.  Do you have the ASSURANCE of the BENEFITS of REDEMPTION?

 

If you do NOT have that ASSURANCE, you can receive it NOW, if you will ADMIT that you are a SINNER, in NEED of the SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST.  And if you will BELIEVE with ALL your HEART that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  You MUST CONFESS your SINS to Him and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  You MUST be WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your SINFUL lifestyle  and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  You MUST ACCEPT God’s Gift of SALVATION, and receive the BENEFITS of REDEMPTION.  Do this NOW, while you STILL can.  He’s WAITING and COMING SOON!!!  Don’t be LEFT BEHIND!!!
