Remember the things I have done in the past.  For I alone am God!  I am God, and there is none like Me.  Only I can tell you the future before it even happens.  Everything I plan will come to pass, for I do whatever I wish.   Isaiah 46:9-10

 

Even though Isaiah was speaking to those who were guilty of worshipping IDOLS made from gold and silver, by HUMAN hands, this is a message to ALL of US today.  We have been told NOT to WORSHIP any other gods, but ONLY the ONE TRUE GOD.  The One who created the world and EVERYTHING else.  He ALONE is the ALMIGHTY, POWERFUL GOD, and there is NONE LIKE Him.   

 

Now, you may be thinking that you don’t have any idols, and you don’t WORSHIP any idols.  Well, an idol is anything you put BEFORE GOD.  It could be going fishing, or golfing on SUNDAY mornings, instead of being in CHURCH, worshipping  the ALMIGHTY GOD, with your family.  It could even be a PERSON, someone you PUT BEFORE GOD.  Whatever the case, there is ONLY ONE TRUE GOD, and there is NONE like Him. 

 

He is UNIQUE, and part of that UNIQUENESS is His KNOWLEDGE and CONTROL.  ONLY He can tell the FUTURE even before it happens.  He tells us to REMEMBER the PAST.  We are to reflect on His PAST MIRACLES, and FULL-FILLED PROPHECIES.  And to BELIEVE that He IS who He says He IS.  And that WHATEVER His plans are HE WILL bring them to PASS.   Just like His PLAN of SALVATION for ALL mankind, He is the ONLY ONE who can SAVE mankind FROM their SINS, and give them an ETERNAL LIFE in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS, and to KEEP them from an ETERNITY in HELL with ALL its HORRORS and NO WAY to ESCAPE once they are there.

 

He will do what He says He will do, and that is what gives the TRUE BELIEVER the HOPE of HEAVEN!  But WE have the responsibility of ACTING in accordance to His WILL.  We MUST KNOW what His WILL is for each of us, and we begin with ASKING HIM what HIS WILL is for us personally.  And in order to HEAR from Him, we MUST become His CHILD.  To do that you MUST ADMIT that you are a SINNER in NEED of the SAVIOR, the LORD JESUS CHRIST, God’s ONLY SON, who GAVE His Life to SAVE our SOUL from that ETERNITY in HELL.  Then you MUST BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in HEAVEN, making intercession for you, before God.  You MUST CONFESS your SINS to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  You MUST be WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  Then you MUST ACCEPT His Gift of SALVATION, and KNOW and BELIEVE that HE ALONE is GOD!  Do this NOW, while you STILL can.  He’s WAITING and COMING SOON!!!  Don’t be LEFT BEHIND!!!
