So don’t be dismayed when the wicked grow rich and their homes become ever more splendid.  For when they die, they take nothing with them.  Their wealth will not follow them into the grave.  Psalm 49:16-17

 

In this LIFE, we are really classified as being WEALTHY or POOR.  And the WEALTHY seems to PROSPER, in their MATERIAL things, those THINGS that are TEMPORARY.  They sometimes, put a LOT of MONEY in the STOCK MARKET, which, sometimes may DROP to an ALL TIME LOW, or it may even BOTTOM OUT, and they LOSE a LOT of their WEALTH.  

 

Some WEALTHY will want to try to outdo some of the others in their groups.  If one has something done to their big, elaborate home, then someone else will want to outdo the other and they just keep UPDATING their homes, which becomes quite EXPENSIVE. But don’t be too concerned, they will find a way to get what they want, even if they have to do something UNDERHANDED.  Now, don’t get me             WRONG, I think if PEOPLE become WEALTHY, they should be able to LIVE COMFORTABLY and have NICE things.  BUT when it gets, really out of hand, and their GREED, and ENVY takes over, to the POINT of DOING THINGS ILLEGALLY, or MORALLY WRONG, then I guess you might say they are going OVERBOARD!

 

Some may even resort to GAMBLING and LOSING ALL they had.  Then the whole family is HURT by such CARELESS ACTIONS.  The outcome is DISASTROUS.  They DO DESPERATE things and end up with a DISASTROUS LIFE, one that is FILLED with HEARTACHE, INSECURITY, HATRED, and DESPAIR.  And a lot of families BREAK-UP.  And Satan has WON!  

 

There is nothing wrong with having MONEY.  The problem is how that MONEY is USED, and the FRAME of MIND a PERSON has when they have the MONEY.  One thing that is important to REMEMBER is: that the LOVE of MONEY is the ROOT of ALL kinds of EVIL.  And some people, craving money, have WANDERED from the TRUE FAITH and PIERCED themselves with MANY SORROWS.  1 Timothy 6:10

 

The WEALTHY may ENJOY their riches here on earth, but what happens when they die? Our Scripture tells us that: When they die, they take NOTHING with them.  Their wealth will NOT follow them into the grave. The ONE THING that the WEALTHY and the POOR, and ALL those in-between have in COMMON, is this, WHATEVER YOU ACCUMULATE on EARTH, STAYS on EARTH. You will LEAVE IT ALL.  You can take NOTHING with YOU into your ETERNAL HOME.  

 

The BEST you can do is to ACCUMULATE SPIRITUAL things, like GODLY RIGHTEOUSNESS, which you MUST HAVE to get into HEAVEN.  And that you get when YOU come to JESUS CHRIST, as HUMBLY as you can, for the SALVATION of your SOUL.  This is what you MUST DO to obtain it, YOU MUST ADMIT that YOU are a SINNER in NEED of the SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST, God’s ONLY SON, who SUFFERED, BLED, DIED and was RESURRECTED from DEATH and the GRAVE in order to SAVE your SOUL.  You MUST BELIEVE with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for you, and that He is ALIVE in HEAVEN, making intercession for you, before God.  You MUST CONFESS your SINS to GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  You MUST be WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your SINFUL LIFESTYLE and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  You MUST ACCEPT God’s Gift of SALVATION and REMEMBER: The ONE thing we ALL have in COMMON:  We CAME into this world with NOTHING, and we will LEAVE it with NOTHING, unless you have given your HEART to JESUS, then you will have ETERNAL LIFE in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS, and be able to ESCAPE an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS.  So, do this NOW, while you STILL can.  He’s WAITING and COMING SOON!!!  Don’t Be LEFT BEHIND!!!
