“Something You Must Not Forget!”

 

But you must not forget this one thing, dear friends:  A Day is like a thousand years to the lord, and a thousand years is like a day. The Lord isn’t really being slow about His Promise as some people think.  No, He is being patient for your sake.  He does not want anyone to be destroyed but wants everyone to repent.    2Peter 3:8-9

 

The Apostle Peter wanted his friends to UNDERSTAND that MANKIND’S way of counting time and God’s Way are DIFFERENT.  To some God is being very SLOW or LAXED in KEEPING His PROMISE of the RETURN of CHRIST.  What seems like a LONG TIME to MANKIND is really a SHORT time to the ALMIGHTY GOD. In God’s way of counting time, the Church Age has lasted only TWO DAYS!

 

Another reason for, what WE believe to be a LONG TIME, is that God wants as MANY people as POSSIBLE to be SAVED.  What some people believe to be SLOWNESS or DELAY in God’s PROMISE, is ACTUALLY caused by an ATTRIBUTE of the LIVING GOD, and that attribute is PATIENCE.  He is WAITING for EVERYONE who will COME to Him and be SAVED from His JUDGMENT and His WRATH.   There will come a time when He STOPS dealing with mankind and will say: “SON, GO GET MY CHILDREN!”  Then, if you do not COME to HIM, NOW, while you STILL CAN, it will be TOO LATE!! 

 

It is NOT the DESIRE of God that ANY SHOULD PERISH and be DESTROYED, So, He, is WAITING on YOU! Could YOU be the LAST ONE to receive God’s GRACIOUS GIFT of SALVATION?  MAYBE, but it could be that for someone else who will ACCEPT God’s INVITATION to become a part of His FAMILY.   He is WAITING on YOU!!  Please DON’T DELAY!!!  You may NOT have the TIME to PUT HIM OFF AGAIN.  In order to become a part of GOD’S FAMILY, you MUST FIRST ADMIT that YOU are a SINNER in NEED of the SAVIOR, the LORD JESUS CHRIST.  The One, who GAVE HIS LIFE to SAVE YOUR SOUL!  You MUST BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART that JESUS DIED for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in HEAVEN, making intercession for you, before God.  You MUST CONFESS your SINS to Him and ask Him for His SALVATION!  You MUST BE WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your SINFUL LIFESTYLE, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  You MUST ACCEPT God’s Gift of SALVATION and be ABLE to ESCAPE HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE once you are there.  And RECEIVE HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS as your ETERNAL HOME.  Do this NOW, while you STILL CAN.  He’s WAITING and COMING SOON!!!  Don’t Be LEFT BEHIND!!!
