God's Pleasure

The Lord takes pleasure in those who fear Him, in those who hope in His steadfast love.
Psalm 147:11

What an AWESOME feeling to know that we have brought PLEASURE to our Blessed Heavenly Father, especially when we are wrapped up in this corrupt flesh.

I do want to clarify the meaning of the word "fear" as it is used here.  It does NOT mean being "afraid" of Him, but being in "AWE" of who His is and His righteousness.

The AWESOMENESS of knowing, that the One who created EVERYTHING that WAS created takes PLEASURE in the likes of wretched sinners, like us, who have been CLEANSED and made RIGHTEOUS by the PRECIOUS shed blood of the King of kings and the Lord of lords!  Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, because we stand in AWE of Him and our hope is grounded in His STEADFAST LOVE, a LOVE that cannot be shaken, or weakened, or removed, but is in EVERY WAY a TRUE ABIDING LOVE!

If you are not bringing pleasure to Father God and have NO hope in His steadfast love, you are in grave danger of spending an ETERNITY in that wretched place called Hell, where there is NO HOPE and definitely NO TRUE ABIDING LOVE.
YOU can change your destination NOW by ACCEPTING God's FREE gift of salvation through the shed blood of Jesus Christ and CONFESSING to Him that you are a sinner and are sorry for your sins and to turn away from those sins and turn to Him.  THIS MUST BE A HEART THING!! He's waiting!
