A Spiritual Legacy

Let this be recorded for a generation to come, so that a people yet to be created may praise the Lord:  that He looked down from His holy height; from Heaven the Lord looked at the earth, to hear the groans of the prisoners, to set free those who were doomed to die.------Psalm 102:18-20

Are you leaving a SPIRITUAL LEGACY for your FUTURE generations?  If so, what kind of SPIRITUAL LEGACY are you leaving?

Is it the kind that would DIRECT their paths to SALVATION?  The Psalmist here, is saying that a SPIRITUAL LEGACY should be one that shows the COMPASSION of a LOVING, HEAVENLY FATHER, who looks down from His HOLY, HEAVENLY HEIGHTS and hears the GROANS of those PRISONERS, DOOMED to DIE, and to set them FREE.

My dear friends that SHOULD be the SPIRITUAL LEGACY of EVERY CHILD of the LIVING GOD.  For you see, WE as SINNERS were PRISONERS of the SINS that had COMPLETE CONTROL over our lives, until Father God looked down from Heaven and heard our GROANS, and sent the ONLY ONE, who was WORTHY to set us FREE from the BONDAGE of our sins, the Lord Jesus Christ, through the SHEDDING of His PRECIOUS BLOOD, and NOW we are FREE, yes, WE ARE FREE, INDEED, and have the HOPE of HEAVEN for ALL ETERNITY!!

If you have NEVER given your HEART and LIFE to Jesus, then you have NO SPIRITUAL LEGACY to leave to YOUR future generations.  But God has done for YOU what He has done for EVERYONE, He has provided a WAY for you to have a SPIRITUAL LEGACY, and you can obtain it by:  CONFESSING your sins to God and asking for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION.  Do it NOW, while you STILL can. He's waiting!!!
