Do You Truly Know God?

My Father has given Me everything, and He is the only one who knows the Son.  The only one who really knows the Father is the Son.  But the Son wants to tell others about the Father, so they can know Him too.------Luke 10:22

These are the words of Jesus.  His ministry was to reach people with TRUTH concerning WHO God the Father TRULY IS, so they could have a RIGHT relationship with Him. And who BETTER to do this than His ONE and ONLY Son, our Lord Jesus Christ.

His MISSION here on earth was to DO what the animal sacrifices could NOT do and that was to bring a PERSONAL relationship to the CROWN of God's creation, MANKIND.  He became the Bridge that connects GOD and MANKIND. 

To TRULY know someone involves MORE than just HEAD knowledge, it DEFINITELY involves HEART knowledge.  That was what was MISSING with the animal sacrifices.  There was NOT a PERSONAL element involved.

Thus we see the TRUE ABIDING LOVE of our Heavenly Father, who became the ULTIMATE SACRIFICE for MANKIND.  The Father is the Son, and the Son is the Father.  Jesus once said;  "If you have seen Me, you have seen the Father, because I am in the Father and the Father is in Me. "  So who better to KNOW God than God, Himself.

It is the DESIRE of Father God that ALL mankind come to TRULY KNOW Him and will ACCEPT Him in their HEARTS.  The WAY that He has chosen to do this is  to get the WORD out to EVERYONE, concerning His gift of SALVATION, and to do this through those that already TRULY KNOW Him.

This is why I do this devotion EVERYDAY, praying that it might reach those who TRULY do NOT KNOW God and therefore does NOT have a PERSONAL relationship with Him.

If you are one of those people, who does NOT have a PERSONAL relationship with God, but would like too, you can, by coming to Him and CONFESSING your sins to Him, and asking for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU and is ALIVE, in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION.  Do it NOW, while you STILL can.  He's waiting!!!
