“Persevere!”
You need to
persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what He
has promised. For, “In just a little
while, He who is coming will come and will not delay.” Hebrews 10:36, 37
We are
living in HARD and UNCERTAIN times, and I believe we truly are living in the
LAST DAYS. But the message for God’s
Children, those who have been washed and cleansed from their sins, is that we
NEED to PERSEVERE.
How do we
PERSEVERE in such HARD and UNCERTAIN times?
First of all, we NEED to keep our HEARTS clean from sin, to be able KEEP
our fellowship with God. UNCONFESSED SIN
will break our fellowship with God. In
order to PERSEVERE, we must have a STRONG, HEALTHY prayer life, but if we are
harboring UNCONFESSED SINS, God will NOT hear our prayers, until CONFESSION of
those sins is made.
When we come
to God with a CLEAN HEART, free from the UNCONFESSED SIN, He will not only,
hear our prayers, but will give us the STRENGTH to PERSEVERE. So we
NEED to be “PRAYED UP,” which will enhance our relationship with God, and will
strengthen our FAITH, thus giving us the ability to PERSEVERE in ALL our
situations.
In verse
thirty-seven, the Author of Hebrews tells us that: “In just a little while, He who is coming
will come and will NOT delay.” If the
Author felt that way, all those many, many years ago, how much more should we
believe it NOW! The times in which we
are presently living are somewhat indicative of the culmination of this age,
and I believe it will escalate into a much worse scenario, before the RAPTURE
of God’s Children.
Therefore,
we MUST PERSEVERE and STAND STRONG in our FAITH, so that we can carry out the
will of God, not just concerning our own SALVATION, but in order to be a PROPER
WITNESS to a lost and dying world.
If you have
NOT given your HEART and LIFE to God, then you are a part of the LOST and DYING
world, which is on its way to an ETERNITY in Hell, the place of torment,
torture, pain and despair, with NO way of escape. But God is NOW giving you the opportunity to
turn from your sins and come to Him with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART and to CONFESS
your sins to Him and to ask Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your
HEART, that Jesus died for YOU, and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for
you before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and be able to PERSEVERE
these HARD and UNCERTAIN times, while waiting for His return. Do it NOW, while you still can. He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!
