“To the Stubborn-Hearted”

 

 

“Listen to me, you stubborn-hearted, you who are now far from my righteousness.  I am bringing my righteousness near, it is not far away; and my salvation will not be delayed…”      Isaiah 46:12-13

 

This message was given to the prophet, Isaiah, for the STUBBORN-HEARTED Babylonians.  The message was from the Almighty God.  And I believe it is VERY applicable to the STUBBORN-HEARTED people today. 

 

This is the call of Almighty God to those whose hearts are cold and indifferent to Him and His ways, and who are FAR from His RIGHTEOUSNESS.   He says:  “I am bringing my RIGHTEOUSNESS near, it is NOT FAR away; and my SALVATION will NOT be delayed.” 

 

Those who are STUBBORN-HEARTED, will not be able to say that the Almighty God is unapproachable, because He is bringing near to them the ability to become RIGHTEOUS, as He is RIGHTEOUS, and His SALVATION will not be delayed.  They are WITHOUT EXCUSE. 

 

This is His plan for ALL mankind.  God has provided a way to bring His RIGHTEOUSNESS to a STUBBORN-HEARTED, SIN-LADEN, CORRUPT WORLD, through the SHED blood of His ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, who became the ULTIMATE SACRIFICE for the STUBBORN-HEARTED people who keep rejecting Him.  But one day, He will say: “That’s ENOUGH!” and will remove His invitation from their heart, and they will be FOREVER LOST!  DOOMED to spend ALL of ETERNITY in Hell, with NO escape, all because of their STUBBORN-HEART and their REJECTION of His SON.  Is this where you are headed?

 

If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to God, then the answer to the last question is YES!  Because of your SINFUL, STUBBORN HEART, you will spend ALL eternity in that place of TORMENT, TORTURE, PAIN and AGONY, HELL!!  However, because of God’s plan to SAVE sinful mankind, He has brought NEAR His RIGHTEOUSNESS and His SALVATION is available NOW!  If you will come to Him with a TRULY RIGHTEOUS HEART, CONFESSING your sins to Him and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART that Jesus died for YOU, and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and get RID of your STUBBORN-HEART, and become RIGHTEOUS as He is RIGHTEOUS.  Do it NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!
