“Having Sight, yet Being Blind”

 

 

Jesus said, “For judgment I have come into this world, so that the blind will see and those who see will become blind.”        John 9:39

 

This verse does NOT contradict, John 12:47, when Jesus said, “For I did NOT come to judge the world, but to save the world.”  Jesus’ main mission was to provide a WAY for people to be delivered or set FREE from their sins.  However, He also has the authority to pronounce decisions on the ungodly as a judge would do. 

 

But the one thing I feel God wants us to see NOW, is the fact that sinful mankind, who might have physical sight, can still be BLIND spiritually.  There is NOTHING more that Satan would like, than to have people to be spiritually BLIND, and to remain that way.  The more people that Satan can dupe and keep BLINDED to God’s ways, and His love, the more people he can take to Hell with him for ALL ETERNITY.   A person who is spiritually BLIND has NO HOPE.  They are BLINDED to the ways of God and to the will of God. 

 

It is the will of the ALMIGHTY God, that ALL mankind, EVERYWHERE, come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, for He sent His Son into the world, to save the world.  That they might receive their SPIRITUAL SIGHT and be delivered from the BLINDNESS of their UNBELIEF.

 

Are you living in spiritual BLINDNESS?  You can be delivered from your spiritual BLINDNESS, by coming to the Light of the world, the Lord Jesus Christ, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, CONFESSING your sins to Him and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU, and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and receive your SPIRITUAL SIGHT, and HOPE for an ETERNITY with God, and His Son, Jesus Christ.  Do it NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!
