"Living By Faith!"

“Living By Faith!”

 

 

I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.  The life I now live in the body I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.        Galatians 2:20

 

When a person comes to Jesus Christ for the SALVATION of their soul, they MUST be willing to put to death their old, wretched, sinful self, and to LIVE BY FAITH in the Son of God.  This is what the Apostle Paul meant, when he said:  “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.”

 

When we come to Him for our SALVATION, we receive His Holy Spirit, who takes up residency in us.  It is through the working of His Spirit that we are ABLE to LIVE BY FAITH in Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God.  That is why it is SO important that we YIELD ourselves to the Spirit, and allow Him TOTAL access and control in EVERY PART of our lives.

 

It is IMPOSSIBLE to LIVE BY FAITH on our own capabilities, because we are in the flesh, we sin, and that is why we need to be crucified with Christ, and strive to overcome our iniquities and shortcomings by allowing the Holy Spirit COMPLETE control of our mind, mouth and heart.  Then we are made RIGHTEOUS and SANCTIFIED before Almighty God.

 

Jesus Christ gave Himself to die for us in order for us to be able to LIVE for Him.  It is the least we can do to show our LOVE for Him.  If you have not put to death your old, wretched, sinful life, but believe you are His TRUE CHILD, you might want to check your SALVATION, was it a mind thing or a TRUE REPENTANT HEART THING.  Did you come to Him with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, CONFESSING your sins to Him, and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU, and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then did you ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION?  If NOT, you are NOT His TRUE CHILD, and you are on your way to an eternity in Hell.   

 

However, you can CHANGE that NOW, by doing the above, and CRUCIFY your old, wretched, sinful life and allow the Holy Spirit control of ALL of your life, so that you are capable of “LIVING BY FAITH!” for the One who died for YOU.  Do it NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!
