“Who Knows the Thoughts of God?”

 

For who knows a person’s thoughts except their own spirit within them?  In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.  What we have received is not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us.       1 Corinthians 2:11-12

 

The blessing of SALVATION was the PLAN of God, the WORK of Jesus Christ, His Son, and the APPLICATION of God’s Holy Spirit.  The very same Spirit who indwells the HEART of EVERY TRUE BELIEVER.  He searches ALL things, even the DEEP THINGS of God concerning SALVATION.  

 

The only one who KNOWS the thoughts of God is the SPIRIT of God, just as it is with mankind. No one knows the thoughts of another except their own spirit within them.  When we RECEIVE SALVATION, we do NOT RECEIVE the spirit of this world, but we RECEIVE the SPIRIT of God, which gives us UNDERSTANDING of what God has freely given us, through Jesus Christ, that is our SALVATION.

 

By the work of God’s Spirit in us, we, who are TRUE BELIEVERS, grow in our KNOWLEDGE of our SALVATION.  We then can UNDERSTAND more about God’s PLAN for us. The Spirit of God, who knows the thoughts of God can reveal them to us, as God allows.  He gives us what God wants us to know, the DEEP THINGS of our SALVATION, which will enable us to be BETTER SERVANTS, and will help us in our OBEDIENCE and RELATIONSHIP with Him.

 

If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to God, then you do not have His gift of SALVATION, but you are destined for an ETERNITY in Hell.  God has a plan for your life, and it does NOT include an ETERNITY in Hell.  His PLAN is for you to ACCEPT the WORK of His Son, Jesus Christ, who died on an old rugged cross for the SALVATION of your soul, then you can RECEIVE His SPIRIT, who will, APPLY God’s PLAN, and will help you GROW in the KNOWLEDGE of the DEEP THINGS of your SALVATION. 

 

You do this by coming to God with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, CONFESSING your sins to Him, and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU, and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and let His SPIRIT enlighten you, and be your GUIDE into the KNOWLEDGE of the DEEP THINGS of your SALVATION.  Do it NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!
