“Examine Your Heart”

 

Be careful then, dear brothers and sisters.  Make sure that your own hearts are not evil and unbelieving, turning you away from the Living God.     Hebrews 3:12

 

This examination of YOUR OWN HEART should be done in an acutely, aggressive manner.  It should be a probe of EVERY nook and cranny of the heart.  It should be THOROUGHLY carried out, leaving NO PART unexamined.  The CONTENT and CONDITION of the HEART, determines the outcome of one’s ETERNAL DESTINY.  Because mankind’s HEART begins with a SINFUL condition, and it goes UNCHECKED, it could result in an UNBELIEVING, UNREPENTANT, and REBELLIOUS HEART, which can lead to an ETERNAL CATASTROPHE for the one who does NOT have a RIGHTEOUS RELATIONSHIP with the ALMIGHTY GOD.

 

That is why the Holy Spirit says; “Today when you hear His Voice, DON’T harden your HEARTS.”  Because if you do, you stand in DANGER of facing the WRATH or ANGER of God, who took an oath that people who are UNBELIEVERS, would NOT ENTER His ETERNAL REST, because of their UNBELIEF and DISOBEDIENCE.   

 

This EXAMINATION of your HEART should be done by the BELIEVER also.  Make SURE that your OWN HEART is NOT housing any form of sin, and if there is sin lurking around, GO to God, and CONFESS it to Him with TRUE REPENTANCE, asking for His FORGIVENESS and CLEANSING of that sin.  And RENEW your RELATIONSHIP with Him.  WARN each other, EVERY DAY, while it is TODAY, so that NONE of you should be DECEIVED by SIN, which can be counteracted by LOVING each other and having a TRUE CONCERN for our BROTHERS and SISTERS and their Spiritual well- being. 

 

If you are NOT a BELIEVER, a TRUE CHILD of God, then you are at RISK of NOT being able to ENTER His ETERNAL REST.  Instead, you will ENTER an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS and NO WAY to ESCAPE, after you are there.  Your ONLY HOPE is to ADMIT that you are a SINNER, in NEED of a SAVIOR, and BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART that JESUS, God’s ONLY Son, DIED for YOU. And that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  CONFESS your sins to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  And be WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your sinful life-style, and TURN TO GOD.  You MUST ACCEPT His Gift of SALVATION, and EXAMINE your HEART, DAILY, and Be able to ENTER His ETERNAL REST, which is an ETERNITY in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS.  So, do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s WAITING and COMING SOON!!!
