“The Testing of Faith”

 

So be truly glad.  There is wonderful joy ahead, even though you have to endure many trials for a little while.   1 Peter 1:6

 

LIFE itself, brings many trials and sufferings, and these trials may be a testing of our FAITH.  To show whether our FAITH is GENUINE or SUPERFICIAL.   Our FAITH is tested as FIRE tests and purifies gold, but our FAITH is FAR MORE precious than mere gold.  Even though gold is PURIFIED by FIRE it still perishes.  But GENUINE FAITH will endure throughout ETERNITY. 

 

When we face these trials and sufferings with a STRONG, GENUINE FAITH, we can, through our FAITH, be ASSURED that God is PROTECTING His TRUE CHILDREN, by His POWER until our SALVATION is COMPLETE, which will be REVEALED on the Last Day for ALL to see.  And we can be TRULY GLAD, with the anticipation of the WONDERFUL JOY that is waiting for us. 

 

If you have NOT TRULY given your HEART and LIFE to God then you will NOT have a STRONG and GENUINE FAITH, and you have to FACE these trials and sufferings without God to GUIDE and SEE you through to the end.  In order to face what lies ahead, with the ASSURANCE that God is in CONTROL, and will be with you ALL the way, you must become His TRUE Child, and to do that you MUST COME to His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, who died on the Cross, for your SALVATION.  And you MUST ADMIT that you are a SINNER in NEED of a SAVIOR.  BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God. CONFESS your sins to Him and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  You MUST BE WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your sinful life-style, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  You MUST ACCEPT His Gift of Salvation, and be able to EXPERIENCE the WONDERFUL JOY in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS, for ALL of ETERNITY, and to ESCAPE an ETERNITY in HELL with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE, after you are there.  So, do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s WAITING and COMING SOON!!!
