“God’s Tender Mercy”

 

“You will tell His People how to find salvation through the forgiveness of their sins. Because of God’s Tender Mercy, the morning light from Heaven is about to beak upon us, to give light to those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, and to guide us to the path of peace.”   Luke 1:77-79

 

These verses of Scripture are part of Zechariah’s Prophecy, just days after John was born.  Yet the are VERY applicable to the TRUE CHILDREN of the LIVING GOD.  God gives His Children, the mandate to TELL PEOPLE how to find SALVATION.  And the ONLY WAY is through the FORGIVENESS of their sins, which is made possible, ONLY, through the SHED BLOOD of the Lord Jesus Christ, who GAVE His Life, as a SACRIFICE for the REDEMPTION of ALL MANKIND.  In Acts 1:8, we are told: “…You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you.  And you will be My Witnesses, telling people about Me EVERYWHERE---in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”   Theses were the Words of our LORD. The Great Commissioning of, NOT only His Apostles, but for ALL of the TRUE BELIEVERS, throughout the known world.  We are to be His WITNESSES, and to SHARE the GOOD NEWS that mankind might be SAVED from their sins and from an ETERNITY in Hell, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE, once you’re there. 

 

ALL of this is due to the TENDER MERCY of our LOVING LORD.  In order for people EVERYWHERE, to experience the One who is the TRUE LIGHT, who gives LIGHT to EVERYONE.  It is an ETERNAL LIGHT, it shines in the darkness, and the darkness can NEVER extinguish it.  (John 1:5).  This LIGHT, which is Jesus Christ, who is the Prince of Peace, will guide us to the PATH of PEACE.  Jesus said: “I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart.  And the PEACE I give is a gift the world CANNOT GIVE.  So don’t be troubled or afraid.” (John 14:27) Are you experiencing this PEACE? 

 

You can experience it, IF you will ACCEPT GOD’S TENDER MERCIES, and ADMIT that you are a SINNER, in NEED of a SAVIOR.  Then BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in HEAVEN, making intercession for you, before God.  CONFESS your sins, to Him and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  And WILLINGLY TURN AWAY FROM your sinful life-style, and TURN TO GOD with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  And ACCEPT His Gift of SALVATION, and His TENDER MERCIES, and bring the TRUE LIGHT into a DARK world.  And receive HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS as your ETERNAL HOME.  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s WAITING and COMING SOON!!!
