“You Must Believe!”

“For God did not send His Son into the world that He might condemn the world, but that the  world might be saved through Him.  Anyone who BELIEVES in Him is NOT condemned, but anyone who does NOT BELIEVE is already condemned, because he has NOT BELIEVED in the Name of the One and Only Son of God.”   John 3:17-18

 

CHRISTMAS, began in the early part of the FOURTH CENTURY, when Christians in Rome CELEBRATED the BIRTH of CHRIST.  This CELEBRATION spread quickly over the world.  So, I guess you can say that CHRISTMAS, CHRIST’S MASS, was and still is the CELEBRATION of God sending His Son, (the birth) into the world, NOT to bring CONDEMNATION upon the world, but that He might bring SALVATION to a LOST and DOOMED WORLD.  The MISSION of JESUS, God’s ONE and ONLY SON, was NOT to CONDEMN, but to SAVE this WICKED, DEPRAVED, SINFUL world.  God’s LOVE was expressed by Him, in the GIVING of His MOST PRICELESS GIFT, His SON, JESUS CHRIST, who LIVED, SUFFERED, and DIED,  and was RAISED to LIFE, so MANKIND might BELIEVE and RECEIVE ETERNAL LIFE in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS, and to ESCAPE HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE, once they are there.

 

Who is ABLE to receive GOD’S PRICELESS GIFT?  It is AVAILABLE to ANYONE who BELIEVES in JESUS, God’s Son, and BELIEVES that He gave His LIFE, for the FORGIVENESS of their sins, and that He will provide for them an ETERNAL HOME in HEAVEN. And if they are WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM their sinful life-style, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  BUT, ANYONE who does NOT BELIEVE is ALREADY CONDEMNED, because they DO NOT BELIEVE in the NAME of the ONE and ONLY SON of the LIVING GOD, the ONE and ONLY HOPE, for them to ESCAPE an ETERNITY in HELL, with NO WAY to ESCAPE, once they are there.  

 

So, mankind MUST BELIEVE, with ALL their HEART, that JESUS died for them, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for them before God.  They MUST CONFESS their sins to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  They MUST ACCEPT God’s Gift of SALVATION, and BELIEVE that their ONLY HOPE for HEAVEN as their ETERNAL HOME is JESUS CHRIST.  So, BELIEVE IT and RECEIVE GOD’S GIFT, JESUS CHRIST, as your SAVIOR and LORD, NOW, while you STILL can.  He’s WAITING and COMING SOON!!!
