You were cleansed from your sins when you obeyed the truth, so now you must show sincere love to each other as brothers and sisters.  Love each other deeply with all your heart.  For you have been born again, but not to a life that will quickly end.  Your new life will last forever because it comes from the Eternal Living Word of God.     1 Peter 1:22-23

God’s Gift of SALVATION brings with it, a life-style that should be a HOLY LIFE-STYLE. This HOLY LIFE-STYLE demands PURIFICATION or CLEANSING from ALL our sins.  This process takes place when we are OBEDIENT to the TRUTH.  Just as TRIALS strengthens are FAITH, OBEDIENCE to GOD’S WORD strengthens our MORAL and ETHICAL QUALITY of LIFE.  And when we are LIVING by GOD’S WORD, we can experience the JOY of being OBEDIENT.  

This CHANGED LIFE should be EVIDENCED through a CHANGE in our RELATIONSHIPS, especially with other BELIEVERS, who too, are the Children of the LIVING GOD.  This RELATIONSHIP MUST show SINCERE LOVE, a LOVE that is rooted DEEPLY in our HEART.  Because we already have a BROTHERLY LOVE we NEED to PRACTICE the AGAPE or GODLY type of LOVE, a LOVE that is without INSINCERITY, or DECEPTION. But it is a LOVE that is PURE and COMPASSIONATE to the NEEDS of OTHERS.  It is a LOVE that is NOT SHALLOW, but is, DEEPLY ROOTED in the HEART of EVERY TRUE BELIEVER.  It is a LOVE that is FROM the HOLY SPIRIT of the LIVING GOD, and it is the LOVE of GOD that brought us to JESUS CHRIST; and it is planted in our HEARTS for the TRUE CHILDREN of God.  

The SUPERNATURAL PROCESS of being BORN AGAIN  that is EXPERIENCED by those who have given their HEART and LIFE to GOD, will make it POSSIBLE for them to LIVE in OBEDIENCE to the LIVING WORD of GOD, which is IMPERISHABLE.  This Word of God is UNENDING, it will NEVER WEAKEN nor FADE AWAY.  The Apostle Peter quoted Isaiah 40:6,8:  “…All mankind is like grass, and all their glory is like the flowers of the field. The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the Word of our God stands forever.”  If you claim to be a  BELIEVER, and you do NOT possess this AGAPE LOVE, for others, you NEED to examine your RELATIONSHIP with God, and find out WHY you are FAILING in this area of your life.  You should have a DEFINITE CHANGED LIFE, one that is OBEDIENT to the WORD of the LIVING GOD. 

And if you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to GOD, then you don’t POSSESS this AGAPE LOVE, you might have the BROTHERLY LOVE, but you cannot have the AGAPE or GODLY LOVE, because, you do NOT belong to GOD.  In order to EXPERIENCE and to POSSESS this GODLY LOVE, you MUST ADMIT that YOU are a SINNER, in NEED of the SAVIOR, the LORD JESUS CHRIST, God’s ONLY SON, who GAVE His Life, to SAVE you from spending an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE, once you are there.  You MUST BELIEVE with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God. You MUST CONFESS your sins to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  You MUST be WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your SINFUL LIFE-STYLE, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  You MUST ACCEPT God’s Gift of SALVATION, and live a CHANGED, PURIFIED LIFE, and LOVE DEEPLY FROM YOUR HEART!  Do this NOW, while you STILL can.  He’s WAITING and COMING SOON!!!  Don’t Be LEFT BEHIND!!
