The Invitation

My heart has heard you say, "Come talk with Me."   And my heart responds, "Lord, I am coming."-----Psalm 27:8

What an ENORMOUS blessing it is whenever God speaks to our hearts, in that still, small, but loving voice, giving us guidance, direction, instruction, encouragement, and peace.

When He lovingly speaks to our heart, in the very EARLY hour of the day or in the stillness of the evening hour, inviting us to "COME and TALK with the KING of KINGS and the LORD of LORDS.  To know that He wants to have a SPECIAL, INTIMATE, ALONE TIME with ME, is PRICELESS.  Just to be in His presence is MORE than we could  hope for, but to ACTUALLY be able to TALK with our Lord and have Him talk with us, by His invitation, is to AWESOME to put into words.

The Psalmist says: "My heart responds, 'Lord, I am coming.' " When the Lord calls you, how does your heart respond?  "Not now I'm too busy," or maybe you just ignore the invitation.  There are those who will ACCEPT the invitation with JOY and EXALTATION.  Which group are you in?

If you have never received this invitation, but would very much like to, you can by doing a few simple but LIFE-CHANGING steps:  CONFESS your sins to God and ask for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVE in your HEART that Jesus died for YOU and is ALIVE today, in HEAVEN, making intercession for you before God and then ACCEPT God's gift of SALVATION.  Do it NOW, while you STILL can.  He's waiting!!!
