“Righteousness by Faith”

 

For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed---a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written:  “The righteous will live by faith.”     Romans 1:17

 

RIGHTEOUSNESS is a RIGHT relationship with God.  The “gospel” is the “Good News” that Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God came to earth to REDEEM fallen mankind from their sins and from the condemnation of being sentenced to an ETERNITY in Hell.  

 

When one comes to God, in FAITH, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, and is FORGIVEN of their sins, then they are made RIGHTEOUS before God.  In other words, they have a RIGHT relationship with God, because of their FAITH in His Son. 

 

It is a FAITH that will last from first to last, or from start to finish.  It is a TRUE and STEADFAST FAITH, which will ENDURE through any situation, and just as it is written in Habakkuk 2:4, “The righteous will live by FAITH.”  Living by FAITH will produce GODILY RIGHTEOUSNESS, which can ONLY be achieved through FAITH in GOD’S SON, the Lord Jesus Christ.

 

If you have NOT given your Heart and Life to God, then there is NO WAY for you to be made RIGHTEOUS in God’s eyes.  You cannot have a RIGHT RELATIONSHIP with Him, nor an ETERNITY in Heaven, unless you come to Him by FAITH, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, and through His Son, Jesus Christ, He is the ONLY WAY.  So you need to COME to Him with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, CONFESSING your sins to Him, asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU, and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and be made RIGHTEOUS by FAITH, RECEIVING SALVATION by FAITH, and LIVING by FAITH.   Do it NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!
