“Where Does Faith Come From?”

 

We believe with our hearts, and so we are made right with God.  And we use our mouths to say that we believe, and so we are saved. 

So faith comes from hearing the Good News, and people hear the Good News when someone tells them about Christ.

Romans 10:10, 17

 

FAITH, where does it come from?  The Apostle Paul tells us that, “we BELIEVE with our HEARTS, and so we are made RIGHT with God.  FAITH is conceived through BELIEVING, and BELIEVING comes through HEARING.

 

So HEARING is the “TAPROOT” of our FAITH, it is the SOURCE of our BELIEF SYSTEM.  When we HEAR the GOOD NEWS about Jesus and His SACRIFICE, and we BELIEVE the GOOD NEWS, then we have FAITH that we are made RIGHT with God, and we obtain SALVATION.

 

When we are made RIGHT with God, we NEED to tell others, so with our mouths we say that we BELIEVE and we have FAITH that we ARE saved.  So then FAITH comes from HEARING, and others HEAR when someone, who BELIEVES, tells about their FAITH in the GOOD NEWS about Jesus Christ, and the plan of God, for the SALVATION of mankind.

 

If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to God, because you have NOT HEARD the GOOD NEWS, I am here to tell it to you NOW.  God in His INFINITE MERCY and AMAZING GRACE is giving you the opportunity NOW to come to Him with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, CONFESSING, your sins to Him and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU, and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and NOW that you HEAR the GOOD NEWS, you can tell others, about your FAITH, because of what you BELIEVE.   Do it NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!
