 “A Royal Heir”

 

He saved us—not by works of righteousness that we had done, but according to His Mercy, through the washing of regeneration and renewal by the Holy Spirit.   Titus 3:5

 

NOBODY can EARN their SALVATION by doing GOOD WORKS, WORKS of RIGHTEOUSNESS.  Even though you may be the MOST HELPFUL, SWEETEST, COMPASSIONATE, and LOVING person to EVER be born.  ALL of these ATTRIBUTES are very good to have.  But that will not give you SALVATION.  No matter how HELPFUL or SWEET you may be.  The ONLY WAY is through the SHED BLOOD of GOD’S ONLY SON, who GAVE His LIFE to SAVE the SIN-DRENCHED, WRETCHED PEOPLE of this WORLD.  Jesus, SUFFERED, BLED, and DIED to SAVE ALL of MANKIND from their SINS and from an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS and NO WAY to ESCAPE once they are there. 

So, we see that to receive SALVATION, a person MUST ADMIT that they are a SINNER, in NEED of the SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST.  Then we see the BEGINNING of REGENERATION, also known as REBIRTH.  And to become at PART of GOD’S ROYAL FAMILY, the act of REGENERATION MUST BE DONE! 

The process continues:  1.  ADMIT, 2. BELIEVE, 3.  CONFESS.  Let’s look at the second part of the process, which is to BELIEVE, you MUST BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS DIED for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  Then you MUST CONFESS ALL of your SINS before God and ASK Him for His FORGIVENESS and you MUST BE WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your SINFUL LIFESTYLE and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  And you MUST ACCEPT God’s Gift of SALVATION and be ADOPTED into His FAMILY by the CLEANSING of YOUR HEART, with the BLOOD of JESUS, which WASHES AWAY all YOUR SINS.  This is carried out by the WORK of the HOLY SPIRIT, which then INDWELLS the NEWLY REGENERATED PERSON, and the SPIRIT then begins the GROOMING of the NEW ROYAL HEIR.

Many will REJECT this GIFT of SALVATION, because of their UNBELIEF.  And they will NOT INHERIT the KINGDOM of HEAVEN as their ETERNAL HOME, but their ETERNITY will be SPENT in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS.  And they will PERISH.  Please, don’t let this be YOUR PLIGHT.  Do the STEPS of REGENERATION with a SINCERE HEART and become one of GOD’S ROYAL HEIRS.  You CAN’T do it on your OWN BEHALF, you MUST be WASHED in the blood and be REBORN into the FAMILY of GOD.  Do this NOW, while you STILL can.  He’s WAITING and COMING SOON!!!  Don’t Be LEFT BEHIND!!!
