 “The One and Only Way”

 

“Jesus told Thomas.  “I am the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE. NO ONE can come to the Father except through Me.  John 14:6

 

This was another point in time, where Jesus was trying to bring His Disciples some HOPE and COMFORT about His going to His Father’s House.  He told them that when EVERYTHING was READY, He would RETURN and get them, so they could ALWAYS be with Him.  And He added; “You KNOW the WAY to where I am going.”

Then His statements prompted, Thomas, one of His Disciples to question Jesus about His statement.  Thomas said: “No, we don’t KNOW, Lord, we have NO IDEA where you are going, so how can we KNOW the WAY?”  And this was Jesus’ REPLY: “Thomas, I AM, the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE.  NO ONE can come to the FATHER except through ME.”

This is the SIXTH “I AM” claim in the Gospel of John.  Jesus told the Disciples, “I AM the WAY, He’s NOT one of the ways, HE IS the WAY, and HE IS NOT ONLY TRUE, but He IS the TRUTH.  TRUTH is MANIFESTED in JESUS CHRIST, as is ETERNAL LIFE.  You can NOT have ETERNAL LIFE in HEAVEN, without having the SHED BLOOD of the LORD JESUS CHRIST CLEANSE your WRETCHED, SINFUL HEART. 

You can NOT PAY your WAY into HEAVEN, you can NOT FORCE your WAY into HEAVEN, you can NOT REASON your WAY into HEAVEN, you can NOT WORK your WAY into HEAVEN, the ONLY WAY is through JESUS CHRIST. 

If you BELIEVE that there are MANY WAYS into HEAVEN, then you are SO WRONG! The LORD JESUS CHRIST tells us that HE IS THE WAY, and NO ONE can COME to the FATHER EXCEPT BY HIM.  And my dear friends, that is the WORD of the LIVING GOD. 

If YOU have been thinking that you could get to HEAVEN by BEING GOOD, you are SO WRONG.  YOU may be the BEST, KINDEST person in the world, but WITHOUT JESUS, your destiny is an ETERNITY in HELL with all its HORRORS and NO WAY to ESCAPE, once you are there.  So, in order to CHANGE that DESTINY, you MUST ADMIT that YOU are a SINNER, in NEED of the SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST, who GAVE His LIFE to SAVE your SOUL.  And you MUST BELIEVE that JESUS DIED for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you before God.  You MUST CONFESS your SINS to Him and ASK Him for His FORGIVENESS.  You MUST be WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your SINFUL LIFESTYLE and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART. You MUST ACCEPT God’s Gift of SALVATION and do it by GOING the ONE and ONLY WAY.  Do this NOW, while you STILL can. He’s WAITING and COMING SOON!!!  Don’t Be LEFT BEHIND!!!
