What Will God Do With America?

 

People of Israel and Judah, what can I do with you?  Your love for me disappears more quickly than mist or dew at sunrise.  That’s why I slaughtered you with the words of my prophets.  That’s why my judgments blazed like the dawning sun.  I’d rather for you to be faithful and to know me than to offer sacrifices.--------Hosea 6:4-6

 

 

Even though this was a message the Lord gave to His Prophet Hosea to be given to Israel and Judah, I feel it is a message for America too.

 

The nations of Israel and Judah were not in God’s good graces at this time, because of their blatant sins against Him.  So this was His message to them.  But I want us to look at our own homeland and see the same resemblance as Israel and Judah, to a certain extent.

 

You don’t have to look far to know that our beloved homeland is riddled with all kinds of sins and atrocities, depraved minds and hearts are almost the norm.  We have become more concerned with not offending people who PRACTICE these depravities than we have with offending Almighty God.  And in a lot of instances we have condoned their behavior, which is very detrimental to the health and well-being of our precious children, who grow up with NO regard for God or the things of God.  And therefore we are creating a Godless society. 

 

“America, what can I do with YOU?”  I believe that this is what God is saying to US.  “Your love for me disappears more quickly than mist or dew at sunrise.”  We, as a nation have embraced worldly things and our love for God and Godly things has dissipated to the point of being weak and dying. 

 

So God is using pastors, evangelists, missionaries and His FAITHFUL, DEVOTED children to bring to light the sins and depravities of mankind and to warn the crown of His creation of the coming DOOM for those who have rejected His love and have turned away from Him. 

 

He says that He would rather we be FAITHFUL and to KNOW Him than to offer sacrifices.  Many people who attend churches today are not that FAITHFUL nor do they really KNOW God.  Some may be there because they were raised in church when they were young and it has become a habit.  Some may come just to socialize, to meet a perspective mate or to show off the latest fashions or to gossip and for many other reasons, other than to be there because they are FAITHFUL and have a YEARNING to KNOW God more.

 

What WILL God do with AMERICA? 

 

If you have not given your HEART and LIFE to Jesus, then you are in danger of the DOOM that awaits those who have rejected the LOVE of Father God, and will spend eternity in Hell with NO ESCAPE.  You can change your destination by:  CONFESSING your sins to God and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU and is ALIVE, in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT God’s gift of SALVATION, and become one of His FAITHFUL and DEVOTED children.  Do it NOW, while you STILL can.  He’s waiting!!!
