God’s Choice

 

 

But even before I was born, God chose me and called me by His marvelous grace.  Then it pleased Him to reveal His Son to me so that I would proclaim the Good News about Jesus to the Gentiles.--------Galatians 1:15-16

 

 

This was Paul’s statement to the Galatian Christians concerning his calling as an Apostle of the Lord Jesus Christ, but it is definitely applicable to each person today.

 

Before you were born, God had plans for you.  You were not a surprise to Him, when you were conceived.  He knew you, before creation, and had plans for you even then.  He knew those who would come to Him and those who would reject Him.  And He STILL knows who is going to ACCEPT Him and who will REJECT Him. 

 

But God, in His infinite wisdom and marvelous grace, gives you the privilege to CHOSE which direction you will go.  When you reject Him, you are rejecting His plan for your life.  He is not going to strong-arm you into doing what He has planned for you, but it would be a whole lot better for you to SURRENDER to Him and His plans, since He knows what you will be facing in your life, now and in the future.  Something you can’t even imagine, since you don’t have the ability to see your future or to be able to alter it now.  It would GREATLY benefit you to put your FAITH and TRUST in the ONLY One who can make a REAL difference in your life. 

 

Those who REJECT God and His plans for them are headed for uncertainties that won’t be a pleasant way to spend eternity.  They are headed into the UNKNOWN with their TRUST and FAITH in only themselves. Rejecting the WISDOM and KNOWLEDGE of ALMIGHTY, OMNIPOTENT, OMNIPRESENT, OMNISCIENT GOD, who KNOWS what lies ahead and has the POWER to change it, if need be. 

 

He wants YOU, because of His MARVELOUS GRACE, to ACCEPT His Son and His plans for your life.  So you will become a PART of His family and His Kingdom.  This life is TEMPORARY, when you decide to go your OWN way and do your OWN thing, rejecting God then your destiny is in your OWN hands and at your OWN choosing, but you will only have one choice, which is spending your eternity in Hell. 

 

However, because of God’s INFINITE MERCY and MARVELOUS GRACE, you have the OPPORTUNITY to change your CHOICE and ACCEPT His PLANS for YOU, by:  CONFESSING your sins to God and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU and is ALIVE, in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION and His plan for YOUR life.  Do it NOW, while you STILL can.  He’s waiting!!!
