“Unwavering Faith”

God promised Abraham a lot of descendants.  And when it all seemed hopeless, Abraham still had faith in God and became the ancestor of many nations.  Abraham’s faith never became weak, not even when he was nearly 100 years old.  He knew he was almost dead and that his wife Sarah could not have children.  But Abraham never doubted or questioned God’s promise.  His faith made him strong, and he gave all the credit to God.  Abraham was certain that God could do what He had promised.      Romans 4:18-21

The Word of God is full of His promises, and from all His promises I think this is one of the most miraculous promises made.  God had promised Abraham offspring, a LOT of descendants.  And when it seemed hopeless, because Abraham being all but dead at the age of one hundred, and Sarah ninety years old, and was unable to have children, it seemed very hopeless, but Abraham’s faith was NEVER divided by unbelief.  He NEVER doubted or questioned God’s promise.  His FAITH made him strong, and he gave God ALL the credit, because he was sure that God could and would do what he had promised to do.  And because of Abraham’s STRONG, UNWAVERING, faith God counted it to him for righteousness. 

God has made His children the promise of an eternal home in Heaven with Him and our Lord Jesus Christ.  Throughout the ages, we, like Abraham, have been waiting for that promise to come about, that time when  He will give the word to His Son and He will split the eastern sky and come back to bring His Bride, the Church, to their heavenly, eternal home. 

God kept His promise to Abraham after a long time of waiting, and today Abraham is the father of many nations.  God took the impossible and made it possible.  And He will keep His promise to His Children today.  SOON, He will come and take His Children to their Heavenly eternal home, those who have TRULY given their HEART and LIFE to Him, through the shed blood of His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ.

But the question is:  “How is your FAITH?”  Are you questioning God?  Do you doubt His ability? Are you beginning to doubt the sincerity of His promise?  Don’t let your FAITH falter or waiver.  He promised it and HE is FAITHFUL!!  He is COMING SOON! 

I pray that you are READY, so you won’t be left behind.  If you have not given your HEART and LIFE to God, then you are NOT His child, His creation, yes, but NOT His Child, and therefore the promise of an eternal home in Heaven is not for you, but you can receive that promise by being adopted into His family, and you do that by:  Confessing your sins to Him and asking Him for His forgiveness, believing, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU, and is alive in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then accept His gift of SALVATION, and receive your adoption into His family, and the promise of an eternal home in Heaven.  Do it NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!
