“The Teacher and Guide”
Good and
upright is the Lord; therefore He instructs sinners in His ways. He guides the humble in what is right and
teaches them His way. All the ways of
the Lord are loving and faithful toward those who keep the demands of His
covenant. Psalm 25:8-10
The
Psalmist, David extols the attributes of the Almighty God. His GOODNESS and UPRIGHTNESS, His LOVING and
FAITHFUL ways are just a few of the AWESOME attributes that He possesses.
Because He
is GOOD and UPRIGHT, He instructs the sinners in His ways. He TEACHES them how they should live, when
they come to Him for the SALVATION of their souls. He doesn’t leave them helpless or
defenseless, but is their LOVING and FAITHFUL teacher. He does this through the work of His HOLY
SPIRIT, which comes and indwells the sinner after he becomes a believer.
He GUIDES
the humble in what is RIGHT and TEACHES them His way. The sinner, who comes to Christ for the
SALVATION of their soul, must come to Him with a HUMBLE and CONTRITE HEART,
seeking God’s FORGIVENESS, then they will receive the Holy Spirit, who will
teach them the ways of God.
The tools that
the Holy Spirit uses are: PRAYER for
GUIDANCE and INSIGHT into God ways, and BIBLE STUDY at a Bible-believing,
Bible-teaching, Bible-preaching church with other believers. Then that SINNER, turned BELIEVER will GROW
and MATURE into the Child of God, taking on the attributes of their HEAVENLY
FATHER.
If you have
not given your HEART and LIFE to God, then you cannot be called His Child, and
you cannot know of His LOVING and FAITHFUL attributes. But you are groping in darkness without HOPE,
and are destined for Hell. However, God
is giving you the opportunity to come to Him for the SALVATION of your
soul. You do that by: CONFESSING your sins to Him and asking Him
for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU,
and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT
His gift of SALVATION, and let Him be your TEACHER and GUIDE along the path to
the HOPE of Heaven. Do it NOW, while you
still can. He’s waiting and coming
SOON!!!
