“Faith without Works and Works without Faith!”

 

 

You see that a man is justified by works and not by faith alone.  For just as the body without the spirit is dead, so also faith without works is dead.          James 2:24, 26

 

 

Abraham was justified by works when he offered his son, Isaac on the altar.  You see his FAITH was ACTIVE together with his works and by his works, his FAITH was perfected.  And Abraham BELIEVED or had FAITH in God and it was credited to him for righteousness.   Therefore, a man is JUSTIFIED by works and not by FAITH alone.

 

You must have FAITH in order to BELIEVE.  FAITH is the cornerstone for our relationship with God, the Father and Jesus Christ, His Son.  When we come to God for the SALVATION of our soul, we are exemplifying our FAITH, in essence we are exercising our FAITH, saying we BELIEVE that God is ABLE to provide our SALVATION.   So you see, that by COMING to God to obtain our SALVATION, we have given LIFE to our FAITH by the work of COMING to HIM.

 

You can proclaim you have FAITH, but unless you exemplify it, by the WORKS of your FAITH, your FAITH is dead.  And you are NOT justified by FAITH alone.  It must be accompanied by WORKS. 

 

However, WORKS without FAITH is null and void.  In other words, you can do ALL the GOOD works you can and still be lost and on your way to HELL.  Ephesians 2:8-9 says, “For you are saved by grace through FAITH, and not from yourselves; it is God’s gift---NOT from WORKS, so that no one can boast.”    So FAITH without WORKS, and WORKS without FAITH is DEAD, like a body without a spirit.   You can’t possess one without the other, if you want to be JUSTIFIED by God, and like Abraham, have it credited to you as RIGHTEOUSNESS.

 

If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to God then you have not obtained FAITH nor SALVATION of your soul.  And you are destined for HELL, the place of torment, torture, misery, agony and pain for ALL eternity.  However, you are NOW given the opportunity to be JUSTIFIED by God, and to obtain FAITH that is ALIVE by coming to Him and CONFESSING your sins to Him and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU, and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and be JUSTIFIED and made RIGHTEOUS before God, because of your FAITH with WORKS.  DO it NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!
