“How Do We Know God Lives In Us?”

 

 

This is how we know that we live in Him and He in us:  He has given us of His Spirit.   And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent His Son to be the Savior of the world.  If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in them and they in God.          1John 4:13-15

 

 

A person can go and stand in a garage full of cars, but that does not make that person a Ford, Chevy or Toyota.  This works the same way with people who claim to be a Christian, they can attend church for YEARS and YEARS, but church attendance or church membership neither one makes them a Christian.   There is ONLY ONE WAY and that is to be able to ACKNOWLEDGE that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that God sent Him into this world to be the SAVIOR of the world, but that is NOT the MAIN THING that has to be done. 

 

You MUST come to God with a HUMBLE and CONTRITE spirit and a REPENTANT HEART.  SEEKING FORGIVINESS and the Only One who can give it to you.  Then you must ACCEPT Jesus and His DEATH, BURIAL, and RESURRECTION and SINCERELY with ALL your HEART, receive His gift of SALVATION.  

 

Many people will miss Heaven by about fourteen inches, give or take an inch or two.  Because they have ACKNOWLEDGED in their MIND, that God sent His Only Son to die for a lost and dying world, but they have NEVER received it in their HEART.  SALVATION is a HEART THING!   You can know all about Jesus, but unless you KNOW Him PERSONALLY, your destination is HELL.  THERE IS NO OTHER WAY!!  You can’t pay your way, talk your way, or even be related to the Pastor or deacon of a church, it doesn’t matter if your mom sang in the choir and your dad taught a Sunday school class.  The ONLY WAY is through JESUS, and it has to be a personal relationship with HIM. 

 

If you THINK, but really don’t KNOW if God lives in you, you can find out NOW, by coming to God, CONFESSING your sins to Him and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU, and is ALIVE in Heaven making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and be ASSURED that God lives in YOU, and you live in HIM.  Do it NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!
