“Will the TRUE Child of God, Please Stand Up?”

 

 

God’s children cannot keep on being sinful.  His life-giving power lives in them and makes them His Children, so they cannot keep on sinning.  You can tell God’s children from the devil’s children because those who belong to the devil refuse to do right or to love each other.        1John 3:9-10

 

I find it disturbing that many in our day and time, who profess to be a Child of God, cannot separate themselves from their sinful nature.  They try to live for the best of both worlds, and this only brings about, insecurity, failure, hopelessness and despair. 

 

When we come to God for our SALVATION, we MUST be willing to leave our OLD, SINFUL, CORRUPT nature behind and to press on toward the goal that God has placed before us.  We must be willing to be a witness of our spiritual transformation.  We must separate ourselves from those people and things that weigh us down, and become “stumbling blocks “in our path to that ULTIMATE goal that is ahead of us.  We must open our HEARTS and LIVES up to the leadership and the work of God’s Holy Spirit, which indwells us.  ONLY the Holy Spirit of God can give us the VICTORY over our old, sinful nature.  Then we can, without any reservations, proclaim to be a TRUE CHILD of the Living God.

 

Those who belong to the devil, will follow, and embrace the ways of the world.  They will NOT be separated from their sinful nature, but will CONTINUALLY LIVE in sin.  They will refuse God’s invitation for the SALVATION of their souls, and will cling to their unclean, ungodly, ways.  They will be contributing to the CORRUPTNESS of a GODLESS society, which will be instrumental in leading a LOST and DYING world down the path of destruction, hopelessness and despair.

 

My question to you is:  Which of these families do you want to be a part of?  Or maybe, it should be:  Which of these families ARE you a part of?  If you belong to the devil’s family, then you are being led down the path to HELL, that place of ETERNAL separation from EVERYTHING that is GOOD, and into an ETERNITY of heartache, misery, torment, torture, hopelessness and despair.

 

However, God is offering you the opportunity to come to Him NOW, with a CONTRITE spirit and a REPENTANT heart, willing to leave your old, sinful nature behind and POSSESS a NEW, BORN-AGAIN nature that is willing to allow His Spirit to guide and lead you down the path to ETERNAL LIFE in HEAVEN.  You do that by:  CONFESSING your sins to Him and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART that Jesus died for you and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and be WELCOMED into His family, and head for the goal that He has set before you.  Do it NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!
