“Genuine Faith”

 

Though you have not seen Him, you love Him.  Though you do not now see Him, you believe in Him and rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and filled with glory, obtaining the outcome of your faith, the salvation of your souls.      1 Peter 1: 8-9

 

A TRUE BELIEVER, is one who BELIEVES in the Lord Jesus Christ, as the Son of God, the Messiah, the One who has REDEEMED mankind from their sins, the ONLY One who can SAVE a lost and dying world from its sins.  The TRUE BELIEVER may face various trials in their walk with the Lord, these trials are brought into the life of the TRUE BELIEVER, in order to TEST their FAITH. 

 

When their FAITH is put to the test, it may result in PRAISE, HONOR and GLORY at the revelation of Jesus Christ.  Salvation is a CONTINUAL process, the TRUE BELIEVER, is saved, and is being saved DAILY by the act of SANCTIFICATION; and they will be COMPLETELY SAVED when Christ returns.  The COMPLETION or the PERFECTION of their FAITH is the COMPLETE SALVATION of the TRUE BELIEVER, which will take place when they receive their NEW BODY.

 

This is one way you can tell if a person is a TRUE BELIEVER, the one who suffers from various trials. Even though they have NOT seen Jesus, they LOVE Him.  Though they do NOT see Him NOW, they BELIEVE in Him.  And they are able to REJOICE with JOY that is INEXPRESSIBLE and full of GLORY, even through VAROUS TRIALS.  They can do this, because of their GENUINE FAITH in the One who SAVED them from an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY of ESCAPE.  

 

Have you accepted Jesus as your Savior and Lord, and do you BELIEVE that you will be SAVED from your sins?   Will your FAITH bring you through the fires of the VARIOUS TRIALS?  Will you have a GENUINE FAITH?   If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to God, then you are headed for an ETERNITY in Hell.  You MUST TURN AWAY FROM your sins and TURN TO God with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, CONFESSING your sins to Him, and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU, and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and receive a GENUINE FAITH, a COMPLETE SALVATION and an ETERNITY in HEAVEN.  Do it NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!
