Free from Guilt

Free from Guilt!

Then I acknowledged my sin to You and did not conceal my iniquity.  I said, "I will confess my transgressions to the Lord," and You took away the guilt of my sin.   Selah--------Psalm 32:5

We all know the RELIEVED feeling we experience when we are FREE from the feeling of GUILT over something we have said or done that is deplorable and can not be considered the least bit of a Christian nature.

In our Scripture, we see the RELEASE of GUILT for the Psalmist, and his deep desire to ACKNOWLEDGE his sin and not CONCEAL or HIDE  it, but to bring it out into the light and to CONFESS it to the one who CAN and WILL bring FORGIVENESS to a GUILTY SOUL.

GUILT can bring with it other ungodly feelings, such as falsifying the facts, in order to minimize the GUILT, which can lead to deeds that makes one untrustworthy and certainly demean a Christian's witness.

But, the best ANTIDOTE for GUILT is CONFESSION, when we come before the Lord with a broken and contrite heart, CONFESSING our trangressions, the Bible tells us that He is FAITHFUL and JUST to FORGIVE us of those transgressions, and is MORE than WILLING and ABLE to do just that.  Then we are set FREE from the GUILT of our sins and can serve Him with a CLEAR mind and a CLEAN heart.

If you have not given your HEART and LIFE to God then most likely you are living with some GUILT,  and are at risk of spending your eternity in Hell, with more than GUILT hounding you, you will not be able to escape or be set free from a continual barage of MISERY, TORMENT, TORTURE, and PAIN.  However you have the opportunity right NOW to change your destination by:  CONFESSING your sins to God, asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU and is ALIVE, in Heaven, making intercession for you before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and be set FREE from the GUILT of your transgressions.  Do it NOW, while you STILL can.  He's waiting!!!
