Physical Fitness versus Spiritual Fitness

Physical Fitness versus Spiritual Fitness

For the training of the body has a limited benefit, but godliness is beneficial in every way, since it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come.  This saying is trustworthy and deserves full acceptance.  In fact we labor and strive for this, because we have put our hope in the living God, who is the Savior of everyone, especially of those who believe.--------1Timothy 4:8-10

It is very important  to keep your phyiscal body in good shape, by eating the right foods, exercising and in some cases making sure you have the right amount of vitamins in your system and that you are hydrating your body with a sufficient amount of water.

However, at some point in time your phyiscal body will wear out and you will die a physical death.  But the spiritual body was created to live for ever.  Living a godly life is beneficial to you, both now in this life and also in the time after your phyiscal death.  You are destined to live in one of two places, either Heaven or Hell.  The decision is up to you, just like it is your decision to live a healthy phyiscal life here on earth.

You must decide whether you will feed your spiritual body the RIGHT foods, which are; reading and studying God's Holy Word, then exercising your spiritual body, by putting into practice what the Word of God instructs you to do, like LIVING in godliness, and preparing for your eternity.

We who are believers labor and strive to live in godliness, because of our hope in the Living God, who has provided a Savior for EVERYONE. But it is His will that EVERYONE would ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION and be SAVED.  He is already the Savior of those who believe in Him.

You can become spiritually fit as well as physically fit by; CONFESSING  your sins to God, and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU, and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION and be spiritually fit for ALL of eternity.  Do it NOW, while you STILL can.  He's waiting and coming SOON!!!
