The Potter's Hands

Yet Lord, You are our Father, we are the clay, and You are our potter; we all are the work of Your hands.-------Isaiah 64: 8

These verses of Scripture are an excellent description of God's children.  When we first come to Him, we are like a lump of cold, useless clay, until the Master Potter takes us, the useless lump of clay, into His AWESOME creative hands and begins to shape and mold us into the vessel He wants us to be.

The warm, loving hands of the Potter works the clay to soften it in order for Him to be able to shape it into the desired vessel, which He will use for His OWN choosing.  He will mold it and make it after His OWN will.  

Then He will work diligently on removing any imperfections of the molded vessel, and when He has the perfect shape He will take it through the fire, this part of the process can be painful, but much NEEDED in order to STRENGTHEN the vessel for it's intended use. 

When it has come through the fire, then the REAL test will be done to make sure it is READY for the Potter's desired use.  We, the REDEEMED are His vessels and should be WILLING vessels for the Master Potter's use.  WILLING to TRUST His plan for our purpose in His scheme of things.  

Are you a WILLING VESSEL for the Master Potter's use?  In order to be a WILLING VESSEL, you must first be WILLING to come to Him as a lump of cold, hard clay and allow the Master Potter to take you into His warm, loving hands to soften and mold into His perfect design.  

You can do that NOW, by:  CONFESSING your sins to God and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION and let the Master Potter mold and make you into a WILLING VESSEL for His OWN will.  Do it NOW, while you STILL can.  He's waiting!!!
