“The Message of Faith”

 

 

…This is the message of faith that we proclaim:  If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him form the dead, you will be saved.  One believes with the heart, resulting in righteousness, and one confesses with the mouth, resulting in salvation.  Now the Scripture says, Everyone who believes on Him will not be put to shame, for there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, since the same Lord of all is rich to all who call on Him.  For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.--------Romans 10:8b-13

 

 

SALVATION is not something that you just acquire from birth.  It is not something that you can buy or earn, but there are somethings YOU MUST do to obtain it. 

First, the Scripture says we must CONFESS with our mouth, that, “Jesus is Lord,” not just repeat it, but CONFESS, which means, to admit, to acknowledge and to tell that “Jesus is Lord.  This CONFESSION must come from the HEART, and NOT just from the mind.  Many people miss Heaven by the distance between the MIND and the HEART. 

Second, you must BELIEVE in your HEART that God raised Him from the dead.  You must ACKNOWLEDGE that Jesus DIED on the cross, and God raised Him from the dead, and that He is TRULY ALIVE today, in Heaven sitting at the right hand of God, the Father. That He has the VICTORY over death and the grave. 

It is BELIEVING with the HEART that brings us RIGHTEOUSNESS and CONFESSION with the MOUTH, that brings us our SALVATION. 

This act of SALVATION comes with NO distinction between the Jew and the Gentile, since it is the SAME Lord of ALL, regardless of race.  It is AVAILABLE to ALL people who call on Him. 

“For EVERYONE who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved!!”

If you have not followed these steps, then it is very likely that you have not come to a SAVING KNOWLEDGE of the Lord Jesus Christ, and are headed for a terrible, wretched, miserable future that will only lead you to a disastrous end.  But you have the opportunity NOW to come to Jesus Christ and be SAVED from an eternity in a place called Hell.  All you have to do is:  CONFESS your sins to God asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU, and is ALIVE in Heaven making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION and ESCAPE Hell and GAIN Heaven.  Do it NOW while you STILL can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!  Are you READY?
