“A TRUSTWORTHY Saying”

 

This is a trustworthy saying.  And I want you to stress these things so that those who have trusted in God may be careful to devote themselves to doing what is good.  These things are excellent and profitable for everyone.         Titus 3:8

 

This Scripture, in the Book of Titus, is instructions from the Apostle Paul to Titus about the MOTIVATION for GODLY living by GRACE.  It was NOT by the WORKS of RIGHTEOUSNESS, which brings SALVATION, through the WASHING of REGENERATION and the RENEWING of the HOLY SPIRIT, which is SPIRIT-GENERATED and SPIRIT-POWERED. It is a CLEANSING of one’s SINS and it takes away the GUILT of one’s transgressions.  It brings a NEW LIFE that is SPIRIT-GUIDED, SPIRIT-SEALED, and SPIRIT-PROTECTED. 

 

For those who have GIVEN their HEARTS and LIVES to God and have TRUSTED in Him, they SHOULD be CAREFUL to DEVOTE themselves to GOOD WORKS, as a TESTIMONY of their SALVATION.  They are to be reminded that they too, were ONCE FOOLISH, DISOBEDIENT, DECEIVED AND ENSLAVED by ALL kinds of PASSIONS and PLEASURES, with MALICE, and even HATRED for one another. (v3) But when the KINDNESS and LOVE of GOD our SAVIOR appeared, He SAVED them, not because of the RIGHTEOUS things they had done, but because of His MERCY, through the REDEMPTIVE ACT of His Only SON, the LORD JESUS CHRIST.  And therefore, they are JUSTIFIED by His GRACE, in order for them to become HEIRS having the HOPE of an ETERNAL LIFE, in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS, and to be able to ESCAPE an ETERNAL LIFE in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS.    Have you given your HEART and LIFE to GOD?  Are you FOLLOWING this TRUSTWORTHY SAYING?

 

If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to GOD, then you are DESTINED for an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE, after you’re there.  But because of GOD’S MERCY and GRACE, you are NOW given the OPPORTUNITY to CHANGE that DESTINY. And by the CLEANSING of your sins, YOU CAN BECOME an HEIR to ALL the GLORIES of HEAVEN.  You MUST be WILLING, though, to TURN AWAY FROM your sinful life-style, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  CONFESS your sins to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS, God’s Only Son, died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for us, before God.  Then you MUST ACCEPT His Gift of SALVATION, and have the HOPE of an ETERNITY in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS.  So, do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s WAITING and COMING SOON!!!
