“The GREAT Change”

 

Listen, I tell you a mystery:  We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed----in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet.  For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be CHANGED.     1 Corinthians 15:51-52

 

The Apostle Paul explains the MYSTERY of the RESURRECTION BODY to the TRUE BELIEVERS in Corinth.  They did not understand all of what would take place concerning this GREAT EVENT, which is yet to come.  This MYSTERY is ONLY for the TRUE BELIEVERS.  The FIRST things he wanted them to know is that NOT everyone will “fall asleep” this was the term they used back in Paul’s day, which meant DEATH, NOT everyone will DIE, but we will ALL be CHANGED, this CHANGE will take place in a FLASH, in the TWINKLING or BLINK of the eye, at the LAST TRUMPET, this time is known to the TRUE BELIEVER as the RAPTURE of the CHURCH, and it refers to ONLY the BELIEVER and NOT the UNBELIEVER. 

 

This GREAT Change MUST take place because, there are two bodies, the NATURAL BODY, which comes first, then the SPIRITUAL BODY which comes last.  The NATURAL BODY, is what we have now, and it is PERISHABLE, which means that until the RAPTURE, the NATURAL BODY will face DEATH, and will be BURIED in the ground.  It will be buried in DISHONOR, but RAISED in GLORY; it is buried in WEAKNESS, and RAISED in POWER; it is BURIED a NATURAL BODY, and RAISED a SPIRITUAL BODY, which is IMPERISHABLE.  NO MORE DEATH, DISEASES, ILLNESSES or DECAY.

 

This GREAT CHANGE MUST HAPPEN, because FLESH and BLOOD cannot INHERIT the KINGDOM of GOD, nor does the PERISHABLE inherit the IMPERISHABLE.   When this MYSTERY takes place, and the PERISHABLE clothes itself with the IMPERISHABLE, and the MORTAL with IMMORTALIATY, we will have VICTORY over DEATH and the GRAVE.  But this GREAT CHANGE can ONLY HAPPEN to YOU, if you have TRULY GIVEN your HEART and LIFE to God, and are LIVING by the SPIRIT and NOT by the FLESH.  You MUST BE WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your sinful life-style, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  And CONFESS your sins to Him and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS, God’s ONLY SON, died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  You MUST ACCEPT His Gift of SALVATION, and be a part of those who will experience the GREAT CHANGE, and an ETERNITY in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS.  If you REJECT JESUS, and His SALVATION, you are DESTINED for an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE once you are there.  So, CHOOSE JESUS, and do it NOW, while you still can.  He’s WAITING and COMING SOON!!!
