“The TRUE Character of a Nation”

 

No one calls for justice, nor does ANY plead for truth.  They trust in empty words and speak lies; they conceive evil and bring forth iniquity.    Isaiah 59:4

 

Does this verse sound like what we are EXPERIENCING NOW?  

 

Four years ago, MANY of us had HOPE for our beloved country, and for four years we EXPERIENCED what it could be like to live in a country that was MORE JUST in its dealings and its laws.  It WAS a nation that we could be PROUD of, and felt SAFE and SECURE with our FREEDOM to PURSUE the AMERICAN DREAM.  We were PROSPEROUS and THRIVING, and once again the MOST POWERFUL NATION on the face of the earth.  But there are SOME who are NOT so inclined to go in that direction, AND have taken over through TRUSTING in EMPTY WORDS and SPEAKING LIES.  They CONCEIVE EVIL and bring forth INIQUITY. 

 

We are facing PERILOUS TIMES, because as our verse says:  NO ONE calls for JUSTICE nor do they PLEAD for the TRUTH.  We are going to FACE HEARTACHE and DESPAIR, because as a nation and a people, our SINS have separated us from GOD and because of these SINS, God has hidden His Face from us, and will not HEAR us, as long as we harbor those SINS in our hearts. 

 

JUSTICE is turned back, and RIGHTEOUSNESS stands afar off; for TRUTH is FALLEN in the STREET, and EQUITY cannot enter.  So, TRUTH fails, and he who departs from evil makes himself a prey. (vv14-15) Is this the future for our Nation?  Is it the future for mankind? 

 

The answer is:  GOD, ONLY GOD can HELP our NATION and US as a PEOPLE, because we are INCAPABLE of SAVING ourselves.  ONLY GOD can FORGIVE US of our sins, and CHANGE HEARTS.  Are you one who has not given your HEART and LIFE to GOD?  Are you facing an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS and NO WAY to ESCAPE, after you are there?  You can change your DESTINY by, WILLINGLY TURNING AWAY FROM your sinful life-style, and TURNING TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  And CONFESS your sins to Him and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART that JESUS, God’s ONLY SON, died for YOU, and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  You MUST ACCEPT His Gift of SALVATION, and do NOT SEPARATE yourself from GOD, because of your sins.  And receive HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS as your ETERNAL HOME. And PRAY, PRAY, PRAY, for our beloved nation.  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s WAITING and COMING SOON!!!
