“Bringing JOY, FORGIVENESS and LOVE”

 

Bring joy to your servant, Lord, for I put my trust in You.  You, Lord, are forgiving and good, abounding in love to all who call to you.      Psalm 86:4-5

 

These verses are part of a PRAYER of King David, who was seeking God’s Protection, upon him.  We see, in the preceding verses, that the King KNEW his condition, both PHYSICALLY and SPIRITUALLY, and in verse three, he asks God for MERCY because of his present conditions.

 

David, asked for God’s Hand of Protection, because as His Servant, he was FAITHFUL and TRUSTED in God.  Then he asked God to bring JOY to him because he DID TRUST in God.  He knew God was his ONLY HOPE for DELIVERANCE, PHYSICALLY and SPIRITUALLY. 

 

David KNEW that God was/is FORGIVING, GOOD, and ABOUNDING in UNFAILING LOVE to ALL who will CALL on Him.  David, also KNEW that ONLY GOD could DELIVER him from his present condition.  So, David CRIED out to God because of God’s GREATNESS, and His ABILITY to SAVE, even to his death. And God wants you to KNOW that HE is your SOURCE of DELIVERANCE, from your sinful life-style and a DESTINY of an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL it’s HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE, after you are there.  He wants you to have TRUE JOY, just as David wanted, and God wants you to experience His FORGIVENESS and His GOODNESS, along with His ABOUNDING, UNFAILING, UNENDING, LOVE to ALL who will call out to Him. 

 

In order to be able to have these EXPERIENCES, and to have the HOPE of an ETERNAL LIFE in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS, you MUST be WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TURN TO GOD with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  And CONFESS your sins to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS, God’s ONLY SON, SUFFERED, BLED and DIED, for YOU, and that He is NOW ALIVE, in Heaven, making intercession for you before God.  You MUST ACCEPT His Gift of SALVATION, and EXPERIENCE HIS: JOY, FORGIVENESS, GOODNESS, and His ABOUNDING, UNFAILING, UNENDING LOVE, throughout your ETERNITY in HEAVEN.  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s WAITING and COMING SOON!!!
