“The Beginning of It All”

 

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us.  We have seen His glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.       John 1:1, 14

 

In the BEGINNING, was the Word, Jesus, and the Word, Jesus, was with God and was God.  The Word is another title or name ascribed to Jesus.  He was with God in the BEGINNING of Creation.  In Jesus was LIFE, and that LIFE became the LIGHT of ALL mankind.  It shines in the darkness and the darkness cannot overcome it.

 

The world being in DARKNESS, needed a SAVIOR, therefore, God, in His INFINITE MERCY and ABUNDANT LOVE for mankind had the PERFECT PLAN for the SALVATION of the Crown of His Creation, and so the SALVATION PROCESS began.

 

 The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us.  Jesus Christ came to earth for the sole purpose of SEEKING and SAVING those who were LOST and DYING in their sins.  He became flesh, meaning He took on humanity.  He came as a newborn babe, and grew into a man, and NOT just an ORDINARY man, but the Son of the Living God.  

 

In order for Him to accomplish His mission of SEEKING and SAVING the LOST, He needed to experience the feelings and emotions of being a human being, yet He remained with the attributes of His Heavenly Father, He was absolutely SINLESS, without a SIN NATURE.  However, He experienced being hungry, content, pain, sadness, happiness, sleepiness, tiredness, emotions, and normal feelings that come with the human body.   Still He was GOD and was RIGHTEOUS and HOLY. 

 

John says, “We have seen His glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.  John and the other disciples were eyewitnesses to the UNIQUE splendor of Jesus’ life, His ministry, His miracles, and His death and resurrection.  His whole life from His conception to His resurrection was a UNIQUE, SPLENDID REVELATION of GOD’S LOVE for the Crown of His Creation.  It exemplified His AMAZING GRACE and the TRUTHFULNESS of His WORD. 

What is your status, concerning the Word, Jesus?  Have you accepted Him to become your LIGHT, the LIGHT that will dispel the DARKNESS of your sinful life?  Or are you headed for Hell, the place of torment, torture, pain, heartache and despair? If this is your destination, then you NOW have the opportunity to change your direction, by coming to God with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, CONFESSING your sins to Him and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU and is ALIVE in Heaven making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and let His LIGHT dispel your DARKNESS.  Do it NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!
