“From Darkness Into the Light”

“I have come into the world as a light, so that no one who believes in Me should stay in darkness.       John 12:46

This is the verdict:  Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil.  Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed.  But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.         John 3:19-21

 

From the fall of mankind, people have lived in SPIRITUAL DARKNESS, SEPARATED from God, and ALL that is RIGHTEOUS and HOLY.  Their nature is to SIN and to be REBELLIOUS against their Creator. 

 

So God provided a Light, Jesus Christ, to come into the DARK WORLD and to RESCUE those who are perishing in DARKNESS.  This Light, will DELIVER mankind from the DARKNESS for good.  They will NOT have to STAY in the DARKNESS, if they will BELIEVE in the Light, Jesus Christ.

 

However, it seems that the verdict is:  The Light has come into the world, but people loved the DARKNESS instead of the LIGHT, because their deeds were evil.  And most EVIL deeds are carried out in the cloak of DARKNESS.  It seems that EVERYONE who does evil hates the LIGHT, and will NOT come into the LIGHT for FEAR that their EVIL deeds will be exposed.  But those who LIVE by the TRUTH will come into the LIGHT, so that it may be PLAINLY SEEN that what they have done has been done in the SIGHT of GOD.

 

The Lord Jesus Christ sent the Apostle Paul to the Gentiles, to open their eyes and turn them from DARKNESS to LIGHT, and from the power of Satan to God, in order that they might receive FORGIVENESS of SINS, and a place among those who are sanctified by FAITH in CHRIST JESUS.  (Acts 26:18)

 

The Apostle Paul encourages us in his letter to the TRUE BELIEVERS in Ephesus.  He says:  For you were once DARKNESS, but NOW you are LIGHT in the Lord.  Live as Children of Light.  (Ephesians 5:8)

 

The Apostle Peter says:  You are a CHOSEN PEOPLE, a ROYAL PRIESTHOOD, a HOLY NATION, God’s SPECIAL POSSESSION, that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of DARKNESS into His WONDERFUL LIGHT.  (1 Peter 2:9)  Are you STILL in the DARKNESS?

 

If you are then you are headed for an ETERNITY in Hell, the place of UNENDING HORRORS, and with NO WAY of ESCAPE.  You NEED to come OUT of the DARKNESS and INTO the GLORIOUS LIGHT of God’s LOVE, by TURNING AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TURNING TO God, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  Then you MUST CONFESS your sins to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  You MUST BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART that Jesus died for YOU.  And that He is in HEAVEN, making intercession for you, before God.  Then you MUST ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and be RELEASED from the DARKNESS and COME into the LIGHT.  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!
