"Guilty or Not Guilty?"

“Guilty or Not Guilty?”

 

For I have kept the ways of the Lord; I am not guilty of turning from my God.   All His laws are before me; I have not turned away from His decrees.        Psalm 18:21

 

From the beginning of time, when Adam and Eve sinned against God and His decree, concerning NOT eating from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. They were tempted by a serpent and FELL to the temptation.  Then their eyes were opened and they realized they were naked. That was when a sinful nature with a GUILTY conscience came upon ALL mankind.  (Genesis 3:7) 

 

The Apostle Paul tells us in Romans 3:23, “For ALL have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,”  Throughout the ages, from the Old Testament times until the PRESENT times, mankind has sinned against God, and has broken His laws and REBELLED against His decrees.  They have REJECTED Him and His Son, Jesus Christ, who is the ONLY WAY to be SAVED from a SINFUL LIFESTYLE and a GUILTY CONSCIENCE.

 

King David knew what to do.  He CONFESSED his sins to God and sought His FORGIVENESS.  He set his HEART and MIND on OBEYING the laws and DECREES of the Almighty God.  And he was relieved from a GUILTY CONSCIENCE, and went from being GUILTY to being NOT GUILTY. 

 

The last part of Romans 3:23, says; “and ALL are justified freely by His grace through the REDEMPTION that came by Christ Jesus.”   Jesus is the ONLY WAY for a person to be SAVED and pronounced “NOT GUILTY!”  If you are one who has never given your HEART and LIFE to God, then you are GUILTY of SINNING against Him, BREAKING His Laws, and REBELLING AGAINST His Decrees.  And your destiny is an ETERNITY in Hell, with ALL of its HORRORS, and NO WAY of ESCAPE.  You MUST TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle and TURN TO God, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  Then you MUST CONFESS your sins to Him and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  And you MUST BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU, and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  Then you MUST ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and be set FREE from a GUILTY judgment, and a sentence of an ETERNITY in Hell.  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!
