“The Everlasting Light”
The sun will
no more be your light by day, nor will the brightness of the moon shine on you,
for the Lord will be your Everlasting Light, and your God will be your
glory. Your sun will never set again,
and your moon will wane no more; the Lord will be your Everlasting Light, and
your days of sorrow will end.
Isaiah 60:19-20
There will
be no more night. They will not need the
light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them
light. And they will reign for ever and
ever. Revelation 22:5
The Prophet
Isaiah, is giving the nation of Israel a prophetic message concerning the
different things that will happen during the Millennium reign of Jesus
Christ. And it is information that is
relevant for the TRUE BELIEVER, today.
He tells them that there will be NO MORE sun to light the day, nor will
there be the brightness of the moon by night, because the LORD will be the
EVERLASTING LIGHT, and their GLORY. And
the days of sorrow will END. What a time
that will be!
Even the
Apostle John, in the 22nd chapter of Revelation says: “There will be
NO MORE night.” And they will NOT NEED
the LIGHT of a lamp or of the sun. For
God, Himself, will be their LIGHT. And
they will reign forever and ever. This
is the scenario for the TRUE BELIEVER of the Lord Jesus Christ. But the scenario of the UNBELIEVER is
spending an ETERNITY in the dominion of darkness. (Col. 1:13) A place of BLACKEST darkness. (2 Peter 2:17) It’s a place full of TORMENT,
TORTURE, HEARTACHE, PAIN, AGONY and DESPAIR.
Is this your destiny? Are you
living in darkness and headed for an ETERNITY of the BLACKEST, DARKNESS you
have ever experienced? And there is NO
WAY of ESCAPE.
The ONLY
HOPE is for you to TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TURN TO God, with
a TRUE REPENTANT HEART. Then you MUST
CONFESS your sins to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS. Then you MUST BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART,
that Jesus died for YOU, and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you,
before God. Then you MUST ACCEPT His
gift of SALVATION, and LIVE your ETERNITY in the EVERLASTING LIGHT. Do this NOW, while you still can. He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!
